Salmon Arm Citizens Patrol

Welcome To Our Website!

SALMON ARM CITIZENS PATROL is a registered  society in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. Members of SACP want to make a direct contribution to the safety and security of both people and property in the Salmon Arm area so that citizens and visitors alike can enjoy living and working in this wonderful setting.

Typically, we ask our members to commit four hours a month to SACP community activities and to attend monthly meetings. We
patrol vulnerable areas of Salmon Arm and Canoe, typically on weekends, and/or man "Speed Watch" radar-triggered information boards on city streets and the Trans Canada Highway. Our  members also contribute in other ways: traffic and crowd control during community events, leave Lock-out Auto Crime notices on cars in mall parking lots, and provide assistance to local emergency response teams during civil emergencies.

There are no fees involved, and SACP provides RCMP-sanctioned ID, name tags, and caps. The society also subsides the purchase of society jackets and other official clothing.
