SOUTHERN ALBERTA CALGARY CAT FANCIERS

We are pleased to announce that the Calgary
Cat Fanciers has merged with the Southern Alberta Cat Fanciers club. As one combined group, we will be hosting the Annual Spring Championship and Household Pet Cat
Show on April 23 & 24, 2005. Our new club has elected to hold our first show in
a new location as well…the Shouldice Arena, 1515 Home Rd. N.W. Calgary, Alberta.
In the past years,
both the Southern Alberta Cat Fanciers and the Calgary Cat Fanciers were very pleased with
the sponsorship and contributions from all of our supporters. This year, we are again offering special
Sponsorship Packages. They are available for
those companies or individuals interested in direct sponsorship, advertising and sales
space. The packages allow you to make
yourself visible to the exhibitors and spectators through several avenues, with a
substantial savings built in. The packages
include the following components:
Show Ring Rosette Sponsorship – your name/logo advertised on
the rosettes for the winners
Advertising in our Spring Show Catalogue and Spectators
Guide. Camera-ready ads, preferably black and
white, full page (maximum size 8-1/2" x 11") must be provided
Display or booth space at the show hall (space available in 10 foot
multiples). One table and 2 chairs will be
provided for each 10' space rented.
Your logo on our web site, with a link from our site to your web
site (NEW!) Camera-ready logos or jpeg
files must be provided.
Please note that
show ring sponsorships, ads, and booth spaces are also available individually. Please review the attached pages for a detailed
summary of our sponsorship opportunities and the prices.
There is no G.S.T. required on any of the items listed.
In addition, with
any package or individual show ring sponsorship, you will receive:
Your sign, with company, business or product name, posted in the
show ring
Announcements throughout the day by the ring clerk mentioning your
sponsorship each time a “Final” is called
All sponsors receive
written acknowledgement in the front of the Show Catalogue and Spectator’s Guide. The Show Catalog contains all of the information
on the cats entered in the show and is given to/used by all exhibitors. The Spectator’s Guide is a publication
available to anyone who comes to visit the cat show.
It contains a directory of breeders who have chosen to advertise in it, as
well as extensive information on many of the purebred breeds and general cat care
information. We also will be making this
publication available to pet stores and vet clinics in the Calgary area. Advertising space is available in both documents. The Show Catalog and the Spectator’s Guide
reach different segments of the pet-owning population, but both are very valuable venues
to advertise your product or service to these people!
As always, we greatly appreciate any donations you may
have to offer, whether it is prizes for the raffle table (human or animal related) or
anything else that helps us put on a successful show!
Recognition of your donation will be provided in the catalogue and with the item(s)
if possible; please ensure that you complete the attached information sheet.
The Southern Alberta Calgary Cat Fanciers Show is a fantastic opportunity for your company
to be visible to several thousand of pet enthusiasts, whether they are cat exhibitors,
judges or local spectators! As we have in the
past, we are sure to attain television coverage. With
our new show venue, we have a large amount of available space for the exhibitors to
display their animals and for vendors to display their product and/or information. With the contribution of members from two merged
clubs, we know that we will be able to put on the best cat show Calgary has ever seen! With the tremendous quality of cats expected and
our ability to now commit more resources to advertising and promotion, we are confident
that we will draw more spectators to our shows than ever before! This, along with a new venue in an area of Calgary
that has not seen a cat show for a very long time, makes us excited that we will be able
to further increase the number of pet lovers that we and you will have exposure to!
If we are contacting you for the first time, please be assured that we will present your
advertising or sponsorship to its best possible advantage and thank you for partnering
with us. If you have sponsored either of the
clubs in the past, we appreciate your continued support and we are sure that you will be
pleased with the visibility you will receive from our new show this April.
We should also mention that we will be
holding our Annual Fall show on Oct. 29 & 30, 2005.
