Kittens: All kittens must be at least four (4) months of age on the day of the show to be eligible for competition in the kitten class.   Altered kittens may be shown.

Household Pets:  Registration with TICA is not required, but is necessary to be scored for TICA annual awards.  All HHPets over the age of 8 months must be altered.  HHPets are judged according to hair length – Longhair (LH) or Shorthair (SH) and according to color and division.  Please describe your cat’s color and coat pattern accurately and note whether LH or SH on your entry.   A color photo mailed with your entry will be returned.

Exhibition/For Sale: Please complete an entry form for each cat or kitten, as this is required for the catalogue.  Please note, this fee does not include caging and prices are different for those who have other cats entered in competition (exhibitors) versus those who do not (non-exhibitors).    Kittens for sale/exhibition must be at least three (3) months old on the day of the show.   Litter registration on "for sale" kittens is required and proof of vaccination certificates may be requested on exhibition/sale entries.   Cats and /or kittens not listed in the catalogue must be removed at the show manager‘s request.

Show Rules: By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges, the show committee, and the TICA show rules. All entries must be listed in the official show catalogue. The show committee reserves the right to refuse entry and/or to have any person or animal removed from the show hall when deemed to be in the best interest of the show. A copy of the official show rules can be obtained from TICA, PO Box 2988, Harlingen, Texas, 78551. TICA registration is not necessary to enter a show but is required to earn titles and to be scored for regional and international awards.

Show Format: There will be eight rings per day.  Judges will complete AB and SP formats on alternate days.

Show Hours: Saturday the doors will open at 7:30 AM.  Exhibitors must check in with the Entry Clerk prior to entering the show hall.   Household Pet classification will begin at 8:45 AM Saturday and judging will start promptly at 9:00 AM.  Sunday judging will begin at 9:00 AM.  Entries not present at the start of judging will be marked absent.   No cat will be allowed to leave the show hall without the written permission of the show manager.
