I often wonder, when I read other people's websites, who those persons are. So here's a bit about me in a very brief manner:
Born in '78 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada of Hong Kong immigrants. That makes me a 'CBC' - Canadian Born Chinese.

Major in Political Science, Minor in History, University of Alberta, 2000.
Studied in England on exchange, Royal
Holloway College, University of London, 1998-99.
Speak poor Cantonese (mostly swear words and menu items). Have received instruction in French and German as well.
Been fortunate enough to have travelled all across the world, including basically all of Western Europe (with the exception of the Iberian Peninsula), and also Sweden, the Czech Republic and Greece. Also have travelled to Hong Kong several times, and been to Singapore and Shanghai. Anglophile, love most things English. London is like my other hometown.
Major preoccupation is, of course, cars in general, Saabs in particular. Follow Formula One motor racing very closely, as well as the World Rally Championship. Been to Formula One races in Monaco '97 and Belgium '02. Like to read military history and another pet project is to visit important Canadian battlefields of the 20th century. So far have reached Vimy Ridge and Hong Kong, still want to see Normandy and Dieppe, maybe Passchendale too.
Have worked at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for many years, but this will end soon as I begin my law career. Working at the Legislature has been fantastic, and has made me quite appreciative of our system of parliamentary democracy. Got to go to the Commonwealth Day celebrations in London in '99, with HM Queen Elizabeth II in attendance. When HRH Prince Michael of Kent came to Alberta in '02, got to drive him around in a Land Rover Discovery. Cool stuff that came with the job!
If had to choose one type of music as a
favourite, would have to say rock and roll. That said, listen to
a large variety of music, anything from the Sex Pistols to Diana Krall
to Guns 'n' Roses to Oasis to Eminem and Snoop.
