I've been in love with
music as far back as I can remember. Some of my
earliest memories involve music, and I've had an emotional attachment to
music all my life.
The music of 54 Seconds sends me into waves of exaltation. It grips me and
affects me in unspeakable ways. They have so much going on musically. They
are brilliant (and if you can think of a better word then sing it out!) and
when I listen to their albums I become encompassed by them. One song isn't
enough, I have to listen to every track. They all intertwine giving them a
very epic feel and when it's over I'm left craving more. The songs are
melancholy and full of self-introspection. Love, abandonment and human
emotions are all looked at. So much beauty in the songs.
The band is
collaborative and the chemistry is spontaneous. The lyrical imagery is
amazing. Everything is important from the vocals to the guitar, to the bass,
keys and drums. Their music is created with raw feelings and emotions and I
LOVE it.
