Great performance from the guys! I LOVED it and I LOVE them!! For a (don't you ever stop!) great review of this show... here's Julie... Guest drummer - Brannen Temple

"Early Warning" - Some
good and powerful and loud vocals from Spencer. Maybe because his guitar
is
out of tune, who knows? But hey, I don't mind : ). Bring
them on. I love the tone of this song. Both melancholy and
blissful.
"Poppyseed" - There ya go, the guitar is in tune again. Love this song. The lyrics are intensely personal and they set off such emotion. Superb vocals from Spencer and emotionally he pulls out all the stops. Outstanding song, outstanding performance. "Jaded" - Excellent song to hear after Poppyseed" and boy do they play their hearts out. Never want this song to end. "Foolish Me" - Really together performance. Stewart's dominating keyboards and effects are killer. Little highlight is when someone from the audience yells out, "Play something unknown!!" <g>. Rockin' out! "You Are Not Me" - Ahhh... this song has been on the last three live CDs and I have become extremely fond of it. Everybody shines in it. Glenn sounds great on the mic and the bass : ). Soo good! "Jaded" - Got my wish for this song not to end 'cause here it is again. Not sure what happens to "It Got You Thinking" * "Sell It To A Girl" - Stewart was right when he said that could really get a feel for the Austin flavour at this club. Very cool. Some beautiful harmonies in this song. "Strange Day" - Love the instrumental opening as always and this one is oh sooo cool. Lots of hyperactive noodling from Stewart. * Right before "Sell It To A Girl" starts, Spencer says a little something and it goes like this; "If you're interested in merchandise, talk to Stewart after the show. Whatever you do, don't talk to MY ass. Buy me a drink or something." - Spencer tee hee I wish! Heather |
