Results for
Ru's 9th Annual Anime Fan Survey
November 2006

Web-based Results

Here are some of the results from some further analysis.

Questions J2 ("Do you read Usenet Newsgroups"), J3 ("how often do you at least READ rec.arts.anime"), J5 ("Which rec.arts.anime news groups do you USUALLY check out"), and J8 ("how often do you at least READ other anime-related Usenet newsgroups") were used to remove users of Usenet newsgroups. K9 was added to fine tune the filter.

As with the general results, the number of returns is way up, from last year's 246 to 669.

These results can also be found at:

http://members.shaw.ca/ru.igarashi/Surveys/fans/fan0611/results_web.html

Other questionnaire results, highlights, and analyses can be found at:

http://members.shaw.ca/ru.igarashi/Surveys/fans/results.html

For each question, I've tabulated the raw count and the percentage of total returns for each of the possible responses. I've added a "blank" entry to round out the totals. Some questions had multiple responses, so don't expect all tallies to come to 100%.

Enjoy.
