This is a home built Sinker Electronic Discharge Machine (EDM). We designed and built most of the hardware including the electronics. The unit uses a MicroChip PIC 16F877 CPU to control the operation of the EDM unit. The software is designed for hands off operation once the depth of cut is selected.
