Below are some of the things my husband and I make in our spare time.  Most items can be made quite quickly.  Our prices, when quoted, are in Canadian funds, and within our prices we include the shipping.

If you are interested in any of the products that we offer, please e-mail us for further information and pricing.  Harnesses and collars can be made to fit any dog, large or small.

Pedigrees

To view this version of our 5 generation pedigree, click on the picture.

Creating pedigrees is our newest addition to our products page.  I can do a number of different things with a pedigree.  I can make them in 4 and 5 generations, I can also do a line-breeding coefficiency report for your litter as well.

Prices will vary depending on the information that I am given.  If I have a fair amount of research to do in order to fill in some of the blanks within your pedigrees, it will cost a little more, and of course, it will vary based on how many you need created.

Paper color and fonts are variable.  All champion dogs can be in red ink to highlight them.  These are great for puppy packs or just for your pet's photo album.

X-Back Pulling Harness

Seeker modelling the x-back harness

This is the X-Back Pulling harness that is an excellent style harness for those people that enjoy running, cycling and winter sports like sledding and skijorring.  This type of harness helps to distribute the weight stress on a dog over the dogs' entire body where other conventional walking harnesses would have all of the weight stress on the chest and shoulder area of the dog.  These can be made custom to fit most dogs and can be made in a variety of colors (See the note below in Dog Collars for the colors usually available for all harnesses, collars and leashes).  NOTE: this is not a weight-pull harness.

dogmsr2.gif (63493 bytes)All of these measurements need to be done in inches and if your dog has a very dense coat, please make an allowance of two inches per measurement and make a note to let me know that your dog is heavily coated.

(This measurement guide can be used for all of the harnesses that we make as well!)

The guide to measuring your dog is below:

Step 1: Breastbone/sternum tip to midpoint just in front of shoulder blades or withers

Step 2: Breastbone/sternum tip down through front legs up across ribs to joint of tail & back (looks like Nike Swoosh)

Step 3: Breastbone through front legs to last rib

Step 4: Breastbone through front legs to rear-most point above hock

Step 5: Behind withers/shoulder tip to deepest part of chest

Siwash Carting Harness

I made my first siwash carting harness after doing a bit of research and finding that most people I talked to found that this type of carting harness was the best type for allowing the dogs freedom of movement while pulling.  I use a very soft but strong webbing for the body of the harness.  Everything is triple stitched for maximum strength.  The metal o-rings have a weight rating of 300lbs.  I also like to add a few personal touches to make each harness less utilitarian.  Jewel's has a Canadian flag on one side to show she is a patriot!!  The measurement chart above will apply here as well.

Jewel in her newest siwash harness

All of my siwash carting harnesses come with an adjustable chest strap and a removable/adjustable girth as well and two adjustable traces.  It is padded around the neck for extra comfort.  My harnesses have a nice short bodice which makes it more comfortable no matter the body type of the dog.

Walk-In Harness

I am currently trying out a new harness for my own tracking purposes.  It is a multi-purpose harness great for walking, biking, hiking and I have been using it for tracking on my girls for the past few months with great success.  The dog just needs to step in and out of it, which is why I like for tracking, but it makes the overall ease of use superb.

We also can make tracking lines in any length you would like!  We sell our tracking lines for $1.00Cdn per foot.

Fleece Winter Coats

Okay, you may think your dog doesn't need a coat, but even though I have Rottweilers, I find they handle the cold in the winter months a lot better with a nice warm coat.  So they don't look tough, big deal!!!

Here is Jewel in her new coat.  We can make them in just about any color or pattern of fleece.  Winter months are when I can get the best selection of fabric.

Prices range depending on the size of your dog, but for an example, for a Rottweiler between 80 - 100lbs, the coat will be about $50cdn.  I just need a few simple measurements.  E-mail for details!
