Bauer is our little loverboy from our 'Dream' litter. He is such a smoosh, but at the same time, he is also a looker. We were lucky enough to have Bauer here with us until he was 11 weeks old. It was truly a hard decision for us to decide to place him, but the reality of having 2 puppies the same age and trying to give each of them enough time and training was such that we knew he needed his own home. As fate would have it, Brandie Cridland and her family, who we had been talking to off and on for the better part of 2 years emailed us when Bauer was 10 weeks old. They were ready for a new puppy; he was ready for a new home. And so the story goes ..... So, we now co-own Bauer, and he now lives in Kelowna, BC with his new buddy, a St. Bernard named Junior who will make Bauer look like a midget even when he is full grown! He also lives with 2 young children who will keep him in top shape!
So, although we are thrilled with his new home and just how bright his future looks in the conformation ring, we are sad to be parting with him. He is such a love and I know he will be a star in his new home. Bauer made his show ring debut at the Rottweiler Club of Canada National Specialty in Chilliwack, BC in May 2007! Although he had not been to a show before, he did remarkably well, and held it together taking second place in the senior puppy male class! He is maturing beautifully, is a well-balanced, big boy with a great temperament. Bauer now has 2 points towards his championship atfer being owner/handled by Brandie to his wins in July 2007 at the Vernon and District Kennel Club show in Vernon, BC.
