Hi, thanks for coming to visit us. We live in a rural area outside the city of Trail, British Columbia, Canada, which is on the banks of the Columbia River and only a couple miles north of the Canada / U.S. border in the southeast region of the province known as the West Kootenays.
We operate our kennel under the name of ROSEFIELD KENNELS (PERM.) REG'D and breed the ever-popular LABRADOR RETRIEVER. We run our kennel mainly as a hobby, for the love of the breed, but we are serious about what we do. Our goal as breeders is to keep the original qualities that the breed is known for while at the same time making improvements for the overall betterment of the breed. On average we only produce one litter of pups every 1 to 1-1/2 years and they are bred for quality following careful research and planning of pedigrees.
We are not and do not affiliate ourselves with known puppy mills.
We are proud of our endeavours with the breed and consider ourselves to be a professionally run kennel. The Canadian Kennel Club, of which we are members, has recently granted us permanent registration of our kennel name due to our accomplishments.
We are also members of the Labrador Retriever Club of Canada which is the parent club to the breed in Canada.
