On November 8th 2010, we had to say goodbye to our sweet little friend that had been with us for 19 years. The day we were moving in, she came to us from the neighbours house and just refused to leave. We tried to discourage her, but she wasn't having any of that. This was her new home and that was it.

The only thing I know about her birth, is that she was born in a barn somewhere in Alberta and that would go a long way to explaining her need to be such a hunter, always watching everything around her, and her fiercely independent nature.

I feel she was 6 - 7 months old when she came to us, so I always referred to her as our Christmas Kitty, it just seemed right, whether that was the time or not.
