This is the wedding picture of Grandma's maternal grandmother,
Agda Ecklund. It may have been taken in Sweden, or Minnesota
in the 1880's. |

Grandma is third from the left in the back row. She was still
in high school when this team won the City, Provincial, and Western
Championships in 1945. One of her best friends, Edith Skitch
is on the right end of the same row. Two former members of the
famous Edmonton Grads are in the front row. Etta Dann at the
left end, and Noel Robertson in the centre. |

Grandma's elder brother, Lieut.Jack Schwarz, He was killed on
active duty with the Canadian Navy, at sea, in November 1944.
He is buried in Belfast City Cemetery, Admiralty Section, B.S.
