Review
and pictures from Neil Calandra
Well
this trip was the shortest for me. Four stops on the uptown 1train. Total
commute time 12 minutes! My travel buddy again was Gary Miller. We set
out for the club around 6:00 pm Show time was 8:00. Had a great seat
about 4 rows back at center stage.
Met up
with Davy,Dave and Pete got to shoot the breeze with them for a bit this
time..Again,they always make you feel at home. Thanks for the OJ Pete.
Great bunch of Guys. First order of business was to make sure I told Pete
Ii had nothing to do with that picture that was published. So Steve watch
your back I am sure Mr. Thompson has something in mind for you :).
Show details:
Top song for me tonight was "Hannah". I Put my gear away and got
to really listen to it this time. SWEET!!!! Next up was Roads to
Freedom which was also very good tonight. I think Robin thought he
was going to have a bad night.
Maybe the
pressure of NYC and the XM radio broadcast but I can assure you that was
not the case. He was in the groove and this was the best sounding show
so far. The house was packed and the response was outstanding after every
song.
I think
i captured some of my best Trower shots to date tonight. This band just
gets better and better at every gig.
