I
have to agree with Jervis Johnson when he says this is the best game he
has made (Epic 40,000)
and it certainly
is one of my favorites.
I know that Andy
Chambers feels the same way and I am glad to see we will be seeing some
new releases
from Fanatic to support this great game. I still play it quite
regularly
and have a large
Eldar host to
paint which I will get some images of and post here.

Just a little update on what's
been going on with some of the new Epic
rules. We are giving the new
Titan
rules a good try and find them quite
good. There are still a few bugs
but now the Titans definitely have a
different feel in the game and
play nicely along side the other infantry
and vehicle units. The new Ork
rules give them a little more staying
power but I don't like the fact
that Pulsa Rokkits have only a 30 cm
range and by the way Gargants can
have Ripper Fists since the model
actually comes with one.

Updated Sep. 8/02:
Epic Armageddon. Having played a few games of
the newest play test version of
Epic I must say it is really good and I like
the way the game flows. There is
more detail to the different units and
the game mechanics are definitely
better then the last edition, in effect it is
a completely new game. You can
download the beta rules online at the
Fanatic web site.
Updated May 6/03 Been
quite a while since my last update.
Updated Sep.27/03:
Well I guess I will be changing a lot of things on this
page once the new rules are
published.
We have played several games
with the new trial rules and find
it better then Epic 40k and brings back
some of the Space Marine detail
back to the game. I can't wait till they
release the new book so until
then
I won't be doing much to this page.

: Well finally got my copy of the new rule book and
I am very impressed. Color
throughout,
lots of background and just an
excellent set of rules. We are
playing games quite regularly and I hope
to update my army pages with new
images and tactical advice. I highly
recommend the latest Epic rules
to all.
Updated Dec.17/06 :
Here is a Tyranid Excel Reference Sheet I made
for version v7.1. It's works
quite
nicely: Tyranid

My Titan Legions force. Still have a number
of units to add which are partially painted. Love playing
the Titan Legion rules which is not the same
as Adeptus Titanicus 2.
Updated March 29, 2009 :
So
finally some more updates as well as new images of my Eldar. They have
been
a work in progress for a long time but I have
played with them many times already and they are a great army
to use. Lots of cool selections, awesome
firepower
as well as excellent Hand to Hand combat units. Next to
the Tyranids they are by far my favorite Epic
army and I wanted to get them finished finally. Just a few more
items to paint and base and we're done. We've
been trying out the latest Tyranid lists posted on Tactical Command
and although I like some of the updates and
changes it does get a little tiring play testing out list after list
and
on top
of that John has been trying the Space Marines
against them and is having a tough time of it. I switched to Orks for
a change and trying out some new army
organizations
which have down quite well so far. I'll put up the 3,000 point list
here soon as well as some of the details of
battles with the army. We are also in the process of doing a battle
report
to post at Tactical Command and right here
on this site as well.
