Part III
The Final Battle

The generals entered Erebus." Attttaaaaackkkkk!!" cried WTB! All the archers in the back of the enemy formatiopn were ambushed. The archers were being killed one by one. Before they could turn around and retaliate they were hit by an arrow. Then a Puppet Minotaur near the enemy archers retalitaed. He violently gored an archer. And moved on to the rest. Many arrows pierced the Minotaur's hide but it did not falter. It rushed at another archer but the cavalry and infantry rushed in. Eventually the enemy Minotaur was killed. But Elephants rushed in to destroy the generals. Flames pierced one puppet elephant and it burst in an explosion of golden light. Morgoth fried 3 mor. WTB slashed through them and jumped slashed an unexpecting Cyclops. Flames then told a scout to go to camp and tell the soilders to start the advancement to the mythic period. The scout said that and rejoined the battle. The advancement to the Mythic period began. The battle continued with Diex on the other side of th
The Diexan army marched against Dark's forces."Hurrah, to battle!!! Aya!!" Thousands of Hoplites and Hypaspists went to battle. The Toxotes fired almost all their arrows upon the flanks of Dark. The clash was instant. The first two rows of the enemy went down immediately. The armies were now mixed and no one could tell who was where. Bodies were littered all over the place. For hours, the two armies clashed in the dark realm of Hades. The place began to resemble a lake of blood. The Anubites jumped anywhere and killed deserters or small bands. The Cyclopes were smashing the flanks, the Medusae turned to stone the humans, and the Hydras could kill nine men in a second. Regardless of the sizes, the coalition army was butchered and within 8 hours, from the 5 000 men there were about 200. Not that Dark didnt had any losses. Countless numbers of his puppets had died. However the situasion was impossible and finally the coalition army started a withdraw which later became an unorganised re
IF was walking slowly biding his time. The pleasant whispering of the grass was soothing. Everything was perfect here. There was no Dark threatening him. No puppets and no fighting. But the wind held terrible omens. The final battle had begun but he would wait until night to leave. IF had a plan to prevent just that many more casualties. Pheobe was coming. The Underworld would not be a problem with the mighty force of Dark opening it to the light for the first time in centuries. Then Phoebe would come and wreak havoc on the un-suspecting forces of light. Everything was coming to an end or to a new beginning. IF continued to walk as the horrible omens passed by him. Something else was here. Lurking in the shadows. Something that might change the fate of the world. The plains disappeared. Transforming into a light forest. Slowly it became denser and denser. Until it all melted away into a clearing. For some reason his stomach ached and Rhea stood beside him. The clearing was filled wit"Who is here?" Rhea called.
IF didn't need the answer. From the fields of corn a shaman holding a twisted mask on both his face and his neck and another pair in his hands emerged. Along with him came several others of these strange men. They hobbled on staffs their bodies crippled with age. But IF saw their souls. They were young. Their souls were drained from the masks.
"Please do not be scared. We have done this to ourselves to grant us the powers of our gods."
"Yes of course but what has happened?"
"We are Shamans of the doctor and the destroyer. These masks give us his power. They may take their toll. But it is a great honour to be able to wield them. And this power we wish to allow you to wield. Healing powers beyond your imagination. And powers of the plague, wreaving death on your enemies."
IF considered. He knew this was a fatal decision on the fate of the world. He could not pass up this chance. But something haunted him. Something wasn't right. The woods had been illusion! So had the plains. And so were the mask. It was not all that it was. This whole realm was an illusion!
"Show yourselves slimes!"
IF struck his staff upon the ground. The entire world dissolved. The shamans were black shapeless slimes. The mask was a curse. Given form in the strange realm. Capable of killing anything upon contact.
"NO!"
The slimes vanished. Rhea was standing beside him completely speachless.
"Hold on and close your eyes."
IF chanted whispery words and the gate opened allowing him to flow through and into a realm of white. He looked through his mind into the world he knew so well. The gate opened again and he vanished from the white realm. only to reappear within the black realm the slimes had come back.
"What is going on!"
A voice carried across the darkness. "This is the world you thought you knew so well!"
"No...."
IF tried again to dimension skip back to Earth. But he re-immerged in the black realm. And again he tried. Except he stayed in the white realm. He let his mind clear and opened the gate. This was going to be dangerous. There was a possibility of never returning to earth. But he took the risk. He re-imerged in a strange land. Filled with geometric shapes. Cubes, cones, pyramids and spheres. This world was truly strange. Again he envisioned the Earth, the pleasant sands swirling around him. And he opened the gate. But he was in a strange realm. Their was sand. But nothing else. He tried again. But again he was in a strange realm. He was lost...
After long fighting the generals noticed that Diex's army was retreating. The generals noticed this and started to retreat. But all over 3 100 000 puppets attacked the general's forces."This is our last stand." said dp. The army fought back but was slaughtered in seconds. Only the generals remained. Morgoth attacked with scorching sands and dp with his blade. WTB with the sword of Ares and GOS with his saber. And Flames with his spear. It killed MANY puppets but it wasn't enough. They were overflowed with puppets. Clawing at there skin and bodies. The generals couldn't fight back. They tried to defend but to no avail. They were then tortured. And nearly shredded. But Flames then invoked Ancestors. The undead warriors distracted the puppets as the blood-drenched generals staggered to the underworld passage..

IF was distressed. Returning to the Dark would get him no where. He was still hopping over the universes. He saw many strange things. Everything imaginable was seen. But still he couldn't find home. And his power was quickly diminishing. Finally he gave out. The endless expanses of white surrounded him and he fell asleep.

Though Diex had returned to Erebus, Outlander had continued to fall with the shattered body of Armageddon. He soon realized however, that as the only will left in what was the battle, he now powers that exceeded even his dreams. He began to lift himself out of the pit, but then had a better idea. This pit, this chamber, no longer had any semblance of good in it. He bent his will on the void and the chamber above. Then, suddenly, he willed it away. Not destroyed in the normal sense, but simply gone. An emptiness, or a gap, or a hole in the world now stood in its place. And Outlander was within. He realized what had happened. He had created a new void, but now in the fabric of space itself. He heard a cry, lonely and fearful, yet mighty and dauntless. But it was out of his control. He could do nothing for it. Now he slowly saw the void around him change. This hole in space was his own now. He slowly forged it into an eye, though he knew not why. From somewhere beyond all fabric of time"What are you?" The thought asked.
"I'm not quite sure any more."
"You have reformed a portion of your world."
"What concern is that of yours?"
The thought stood silent for a moment.
"You meddle with things too great for you. One of your world has meddled already. He is now trapped. Will you end the same?"
Now Outlander stood silent. Then he spoke without fear.
"I fear nothing, why should I now fear you. Because you are strong? I have slain one of the mightiest beings in my world. Because I do not know what you are? I have often faced such things. Because you come from another land? I have travelled on the brink of reality for a thousand years. I have met such things."
Outlander focused the eye. What he saw startled even him. It was the same creature he had fought below in the under realm. It was himself, again. But was that what he had been talking with?
"Perhaps," Thought Outlander, "There was more to this cavern than met the eye."
Outlander then focused beyond the creature. He saw an army a million strong or more. They were like men, but not quite. You see, these men had not faces.
The thought spoke again, but Outlander heard a new cry. The armies of the generals needed help. Outlander focused on his generals, now recruiting. He warped them, himself, and his Iron army into the fray.
His Generals had recruited well. With them Outlander’s and more importantly the forces of good were augmented greatly. Outlander's Original 100 Iron Soldiers in all of their power arose to help. The 3 Generals who Outlander had freed now ordered their armies of;  500000 Rebels, 200000 Ulfsarks, 150000 Axemen, 100000 Archers, 100000 Huskarls, 50000 Jarls, 10000 Ancient Warriors, 20000 Elite Bladesmen, 20000 Elite Archers, 15000 Heavy Cavalry and 10000 Bushwhackers.

Outlander's Troops landed right in the middle of the enemy formation. They weren't afraid to die. The battle was on!

And so the puppets of Dark clashed with the reinforcements of Outlander. The tide was turned!!! And suddenly Diex gained the power of the Gods themselves, an embodiment of the Elder Gods. "I am a Demi-Titan!!!" he screamed. By this time, Hades had summoned 10000 walking Sentinels with swords, spears and bows, all the Sentinels the size of a human. They charged the enemy who was certainly retreating. Within the next few hours the dark forces were in a full retreat. An ambush of the coalition forces behind the lines completely routed the enemy army. From the 3 500 000 the size of the enemy army was now about 10 and all of them were about to be slaughtered in a minute....

IF slept. He could feel the Earth again. Its true self. Not the perverted darkness he had seen. A tear in the space time continuum. IF bolted awake. Rhea was there. Waiting patiently not knowing the dangers of the other dimensions. IF opened the gate. And vanished.
IF tumbled out of the eye landing on the corpse of a fallen puppet.
"My robes!" IF was disgusted at the fact of his robes being drenched in blood. IF saw all around him the shear carnage of the battle that had taken place. IF vanished opening the gate again. Again he re-appeared on Earth spending no time in the other dimensions. He was standing on a ledge high in the cavern. He could see the massive forces of Outlander hunting down the last survivors. He acted quickly opening the gate and pointing it at one of the puppets. The puppet screamed as he stopped moving. His body spaghettified and streamed into the gate. IF pointed the gate at another puppet. The effect was the same. But before he could trap a third the last was hacked down.
~~~~~~~~~~~Puppets~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The puppet found himself in a world of perfect darkness. A comrade popped out behind him. Both came out as strange blurred lines but quickly re-gained form.
"What the-"
Dark shapes leaped out of the darkness their eyes glowing red and the two were devoured slowly. Only they didn't feel pain. Their souls were being devoured. Slowly they died. The cackling laughter of the strange beasts was the last they heard.
~~~~~~~~~~~~Back to the Battle~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
IF saw the startled warriors arm their bows. Then a black rain descended upon him. He simply opened the gate and all of the arrows became long and thin disappearing into the gate. The gate closed then opened again. The arrows spewed out covered in flames. IF could now see the other generals stopping the other warriors from attacking. IF vanished re-appearing beside morgoth.

Dark was angry. All of his puppets were being slaughtered.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! FOOLS I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! ENTER MY LAIR NOW!!!!!!!!!!! I WISH TO KILL YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WONT WIN. SO YOU’VE KILLED 3,500,000 OF MY PUPPETS EH!? SO, THATS NOTHING!!!! I HAVE DESTROYED COUNTLESS LIFE FORMS!!!! YOU WILL SOON BE NEXT!!!!!!" screamed Dark's voice in the battlefield.
"We should head for his base." said Flames. The final puppets were vanquished and the generals were ready.
"Sir, we have advanced to the Mythic period through Thoth." said a scout.
"It begins." said Outlander. The generals exited Erebus and headed for the Fortress of Dark just a mile from the passage.
"I shall do this." said Flames. He rose his hand and screamed: "METEOR STORM!!!". Then the generals looked up. Down came a Meteor. It collided with the Fortress of Dark. In a blast hotter than the surface of the sun half of the base vaporized. Then the meteor shower eliminated the entire forest and fortress in 20 seconds. Then Dark came out of the ruins." “hehehhehehehehheeheheHAhehhehahahhaahahahahahhaahahHAHAHHHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAH!" He screamed.
"What's going on?" said WTB.
"This ends now." said Dark. Then he disappeared. The generals headed for Erebus for there the final battle would be held, a brutal contest to decide the fate of the Universe...

 "So you've come?" said Dark, his back to the generals. He turned around." First you were a threat. Now you’re a fear. But today I will end this fear. Then the moon will collide with the world and the legacy of mankind will end." said Dark." Such a pity. Humanity is so young." said Dark.
"Today this nightmare ENDS!" said all the generals in unison.
"We shall see..." said Dark.

IF was standing among the masses of archers. Or rather beneath them. Phasing through dimensions he re-appeared in the rocks beneath the archer's feet. All the better. IF began to prepare for his part in the final battle. He focused most of his mind upon the crystal. The rest stayed alert in case Dark discovered him. Slowly the energy began to collect. More and more. IF decided to be free of the stones and dimension skipped to the endless white expanse. There he concentrated ever more of his mind on the crystal. Remaining only barely aware of the realm and the upcoming battle. He could feel there was something in here other then him. Something or some things that were very powerful. Slowly it became more and more clear. But IF could still not discern exactly what it was that was coming towards him. Simply many bodies. All as powerful as he was. Something strange was going on...

Outlander laughed. His men had routed the minions. He was a great Lord of Men once again. His enemy Armageddon had fallen, and the last enemy of the world was almost cornered. But something pulled at his mind, as if he had forgotten something. No, it wasn't the faceless army or the shadow of himself... but it seemed related to them. He couldn't tell if it was one thing or many. It didn't focus on him yet, but it knew of his existence... what could it be?

Outlander shook off these thoughts. He had more immediate problems. He wasn't quite certain where Dark had gone or what his next move would be. He had no previous connections with Dark, they had known of each other but had never met. But the battle was going well. He had sensed Diex's return, and been glad. Perhaps they would meet soon... if only the shadow of darkness in Diex didn't take control. But he must not think of that. He tried to see through the rushing bodies of men. He had had a good battle, many thousand puppet warriors lay dead at his feet alone. He had become more powerful than the gods.

Then he felt it again. Like a blast of cold air. The army. Of something. Coming. Not at him again, but near. Nor was it in this world... at least yet. He was in danger from all fronts, but this one seemed greater than the other... not evil -- far more sinister than that. He felt another will following the same power. IF. Outlander bent his will on the power or powers they were watching. He suddenly felt a burning fire in his will, and screamed out in pain. He was hurled high off the ground and landed in a heap 20 feet away.

He slowly stood up. He shakily looked around. He heard a trumpet. The generals had found Dark. The battle was about to begin. He rallied his armies with his mighty will.

"Back to this world," He muttered.

The creature was a small fox. It was silver and had stubby wings. "Oh," POW said, "You are SO adorable!" The tiny silver fox looked up and smiled. POW put her hand into her sack and pulled out an orb. "Here," she said smiling.
The light of the heavens
Stops evil in its path
Shall light be sealed away for ever
You will feel evil’s wrath

Light sprang form the orb and hit Windoga. Windoga fused with the light. When the light disappeared, and Windoga turned into a dragon. He was now the Dragon of Light "Come now you cute little dragon we must go to Greece and find the Underworld passage." Windoga and POW flew to Greece Found the Underworld passage. They were ready to face Dark and all his evil!

Dark stood still. Black energy beat around him Dark looked at his claws and opened his mouth wide. His eye tipped tongue jerked around like a snake." Well, I'm ready. What about you?" asked Dark. The generals just stood there. There silence meant yes to the scourge. He arose into the air. He was strangely calm. No bloodshed yet. "You know what? I shouldn't fight. You generals are too strong for me." said Dark. The generals were confused. They knew it was a trick but the tone of Dark's voice called out they were wrong."I'm sure." he said, as if to answer the general's internal question. Then he lunged at Flames. Flames couldn't guard as Dark flew at him! Dark seized his wrists and squeezed. He blew back anyone who tried to interfere with black energy. He squeezed Flames' wrists so hard his veins burst and Flames' bones cracked." AHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" screamed Flames to the top of his lungs." One down a few to go." said Dark, the generals were horrified...

Outlander watched horrified as Dark grappled with Flames. He clenched his sword. But he could not move... or could he? With all his might he forced his feet forward, faster and faster. Dark looked up and saw him. The malice in Dark's eyes burned into Outlander... he couldn't see... darkness all around...
But as the blindness set in, Outlander's other senses became instantly attuned to his surroundings. He leaped, sightless, yet fearless. He sensed himself flying through the air. He landed just in front of Dark. His foe had dropped Flames and left him writhing on the ground. Dark's blade swung through the air, but Outlander felt it coming and flipped over it. He focused his will on Dark.
"Give me back the sight you stole, fiend!" He cried.
Then He saw again, but almost too late. Dark's foul fist swung through the air. Outlander caught it with his blade. The blade left no mark in the fiend's hand.

Dark stepped forward, but Outlander ducked and grabbed Flames. He dragged the general back to the mesmerised army. Then he turned around and focused on Dark, sword drawn. The armies and the Generals did the same. Good and evil stood staring at each other.

Stalemate. For now.

Drawing upon his recently gained knowledge, Morgoth blinked out of the world and reappeared beside Flames.
"Let me help you," he said.
"No, my hands are gone."
"Not forever if I can help it."
Holding his staff so that it was simultaneously in contact with the ground and with Flames' hands, energy began to flow up the staff. Feeling returned to Flames' hands and he was astonished to find that he could use them again.
Before Flames could thank him, Morgoth had disappeared.
Morgoth reappeared some distance away, behind Dark. Hiding in the shadows, he waited.
"I know you're there!" said Dark. "You can't hide yourself in the shadows from me."
"But I can," Morgoth replied as he began to phase constantly in and out of existence. "Catch me if you can!"
Dark seemed to be confused, unable to deal with the threat of the waiting generals and Morgoth's constant movement. Perhaps the distraction would give the others an edge . . .

Outlander saw Morgoth's tactics at once. He laughed.
"That's ancient blood for you," He thought.
Then he tuned his mind to Dark. But Dark's mind was focussed on Morgoth. It was undefended. Outlander took advantage of this he read Dark's mind. He saw his plan.
Outlander stressed his will to the utmost. He broke Dark's control of the General's Armies. The battle could now begin.

"Thank you, morgoth." said Flames quietly. Flames drew his spear and stood looking at Dark. Dark was a great evil and challenge.
”This is the best you can do!?" asked Dark,"Flames, I have something to tell you. I killed your family." said the fiend. Flames' rage was enormous. You could literally see the fury in his eyes.
"What did... did... you.. say?" asked Flames, holding himself back from absolutely cracking on Dark.
"I KILLED YOUR FAMILY. What's so hard to understand?" asked Dark, though sounding polite had an evil grin on him.
"I...WILL...KILL...YOU...YOU.... FIEND!!!!!!" screamed Flames. He ran at Dark faster than ever. With a mighty stab he lodged his spear right into Dark's eye. The explosion of golden light blasted into Dark's head. His head bulged immensely with light. Dark fell, his entire head smoking from the impact, seemingly dead, a fatal wound to any mortal, but there was the catch.
"Is he dead?" asked GOS.
"Yes.." said Flames. The armies and generals started to walk away but a familiar voice pierced their ears.
"AHHHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHHH!!! You actually thought I was dead!? FOOLS!!" screamed Dark. He lunged. Outlander drew his blade and blocked. Everyone knew Dark was holding back. Then he grabbed Outlander's throat. Outlander started to choke. Flames and GOS both attacked Dark. Dark let go of Outlander and dodged the attacks with ease. He grabbed GOS and blew him back. Then Dark hovered above the generals' armies. He incinerated them all with a blast of blue fire. The soldiers' blood bubbled to the point of the heat of lava. All the scorching blood showered down. It was a horrifying blood rain so to speak. ”Your next!!" screamed Dark!!!

Cronus stared at Zalp, his deep burning eyes looking at him. Zalp was waiting for the Titan to do the first movement, hoping that his plan would succeed. Finally the Titan grunted and attacked Zalp, he avoided the huge fist and then hurled his spear into Cronus' hand.
"Your weapons are no good against me, General" Cronus took a rock and then threw it against Zalp, he crouched and the rock passed right over his head. Once again Zalp attacked the Titan, he drew his bow and fired an arrow, the sound of the flying arrow broke the air and hitted the Titan's forehead, but it didn't affect him at all.
"Aaaaaaaarrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhh!" The Titan roared and attacked, Zalp deflected and avoided the titanic fury. There wasn't much he could do here, Zalpacuiztli turned around and started running into the gloom, Cronus followed him, there was a low hole in the rock wall and it seemed to form some kind of corridor, Zalp crawled into it as fast as he could, soon the Titan was over him and started destroying the rock furiously, quickly he had made a hole big enough to pass through it, Zalp came into another hall, there was a rocky ramp that went down, Zalp ran into it when Cronus came out just after him.
"Don't run fool!!!!!!!!" Said Cronus.
As they went down it became hotter and more humid, they came to the end of the ramp, the ground was flooded and the water ran faster as it reached a pit a few feet away. Zalp awaited motionless, Cronus came.
"I am not sure of what your plans are, but it seems that you are lost, tell me Zalpacuiztli, what kind of Western magic will you use now"
"Not magic my friend, but wisdom, knowledge of the nature"
"Knowledge of the nature, ha! I really doubt nature can save you now, you are doomed."
"I would not be so sure, you may be a Titan, but there is a strength that overcomes you, look where you are"
Cronus looked at him disconcerted
"Oncan tlahtohqueh mochihuah in ipan" Zalp's voice flew in the wind. Cronus did not understand that language. But there was something in his mind that didn't let him move, something worrying "Ixquich tonalpohualli in tlahtohqueh pipiltin cuauhtitlan atl chaneh! motecuihtotiah in tlahtohqueh Tlalocaltecuhtli!" Zalp finished and a low noise could be heard, it came from above their heads, Cronus heard how the noise arose. The Titan was trying to find out what the hell was going on when he felt something in his toe, it burned.
"Curse you fool!!!!!!!!!" Cronus yelled furiously. He rushed towards Zalp, Zalp stepped back and shot an arrow at the Titan, he roared and attacked Zalp with rage.
"Your manners seem annoying to me lord of the West, I can't figure out what is your proposal, but you shall not succeed!" Cronus attacked once again. Zalp didn't answer, instead he lifted his hand with a dart into it, the dart became a flame and was hurled against the Titan, it hit Cronus near his left eye.
"My eye!!!! I can't see with my eye!!!!! Curse you!!!!" Cronus kicked the ground near Zalp, the ground shook and Zalp fell to his side.
"If you are trying to retain me here, General, I'm sorry to tell you that you have failed."
"I wouldn't be so confident," Suddenly a loud noise came from behind and the level of the water started to rise. Then it came clear to him, Cronus was terrified, everything made sense now, the abyss, the coldness, the water in the ground and the holes in the wall that he had made. It was a trap, he had been tricked.
"That's true son of Uranus, what a tragedy that it's too late," Exclaimed Zalp. The sound became louder, Zalp ran and hide behind a rock.
"What?" Cronus was surprised when a torrent came out of the corridor, the water was so strong that Cronus almost fell.
"Curse you, I shall destroy you even if it's the last thing I'll do" Cronus took Zalp into his hand and lifted him to the height of his eyes. "If I shall die here, you'll die with me too" Zalp tried to fight but the Titan was too strong. "Prepare for the greatest of your adventures inhabitant of the West" Said Cronus "Good luck to you too Titan, for as you have noticed we are inside a mountain, and in this cliff a spring rises, it goes down to a precipice in which bottom are sharp rocks, then a river and after the sea, so your corpse will be fine there" Zalp laughed "I don't care if I die, 5116 years are fair I think, aren't they" The water had now reached the Titan's knees "And the water is nice, don't you think?" The cave echoed "It's time now," Water came out with fury, wresting the rocks from their foundations and dragging everything in it's path, the torrent hit Cronus heavily, he couldn't resist anymore and the water pushed him to the back of the rocky wall, he felt how his gig
GOS stood up shakily and looked around him. Flames shook himself off from the bloody rain. But Outlander was no where to be seen. The generals now rushed to where Outlander lay. He was writhing with pain. They could see around his neck the fiendish marks of the hands of Dark. His neck was black and blistered. He gasped for air. Blood seeped through his cracking skin. He slowly cracked his eyes open. He wet his lips. He tried to speak.
But instead of his fellow generals standing before him, he saw Dark, as if in a dream. He felt the black hands grip tighter. The fiend looked him in the eye.
"Hello. Fool. You have let the other generals trick you. They are weak ones. You are strong. You are of the ancient blood which the gods themselves fear. You are thousands of years old, unlike this fool Flames. You can stand alone and rule the world. Take my place."
And with that he pointed to a fell throne. It was black and wreathed in shadow.
"This," said Dark, "is my ancient seat of glory. Soon, very soon, it will be the seat of the king of all. Let us fight to see who that will be. Think of the glory."
Outlander hesitated. He tried to think. Should he strike Dark with his Will and strive to rule the universes, or should he aid his allies? He could defeat Dark. He had defeated worse than this.

Suddenly, a memory burst into his mind. It was like a refreshing rain. These were the thoughts Dark desired for him. He could not defeat the fiend no single man could. Not because they were weak, but because Dark would twist his pride and lust for glory back at him at throw it in his face. No. Only together, all together, could they triumph. The black hands clenched harder. Dark screamed curses at him. But Outlander laughed. He had won this battle. He had seen Dark's mind before and seen the parts of his vile plan. He could not be tricked. And now, neither would his allies. His mind left the presence of Dark. He sensed allies.

His eyes opened. Flames, Morgoth and GOS stood around him. Concern showed on their faces. Though these men hardly knew him, they hoped for his survival and safety. He began to speak.
"I guess I tried to take. Alone."
He closed his eyes and collected his thoughts.
"He is too strong for any one of us. That's what we have learned from this battle. The war is not yet over. He is gone for now, but he could reappear at any moment. We must merge our powers. We must stand together and conquer our fierce pride. That is the weapon he will use against us now."
The other generals nodded quietly. Somehow they knew he spoke the truth. It rang home with each of them. They each saw the danger.

Outlander stumbled up. He staggered a bit, but he caught himself. Then he stood straight up. The marks of Darkness vanished. The dull light in his eye became like fire. His wounds were healed. His powers returned mightier than they had ever been. The very air around him glowed with an almighty fire. He cried out with a voice unlike any ever heard in all the worlds. It rang the seven fields of dimension and caused even them to shake. Throughout the world men heard the cry and heartened. A fire blazed in Outlander's tongue.
"O vile Fiend, lower than the worm Armageddon himself, lower than the vile titans! You tempt us no longer. Long have you tortured the world and long have you strived to crush it. But your hour is nigh. Many evils have come and gone, you now go to join them. Never again shall you torment the men of the world. For we have uncovered your fiendish plots, and now we arrive to frustrate them. We see your strongest weapon and avoid it. For not one power will face you, but the combined powers of the free lords, in thought when not in being. You cannot stop us. We must not falter, we dare not fear, we will not fail!"

The great words of Outlander made the generals stronger. Well not physically but mentally. All the generals drew their weapons for there last stand. Their long journey had brought them to this. This last battle. Their last hope. Humanity and all life would perish. This is it. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH!!! FOOLS! Again with this gibber gabber! ENOUGH! You may be mentally strong but physically you fail." said Dark's voice. "YOU ARE ALL BARK AND NO BITE!" said a voice that shook Erebus. Dark appeared. "Who is that!?" he asked.
"It is us. Love, Uranus, and Geae. Remember?" said the three.
"You!?" asked Dark. The three approached. Uranus, now a force of light, had a long glowing beard with blue robes that were colored with the clouds. Geae was glowing with yellow energy and had white robes with a golden rose in her hand and beautiful black hair. Love had blonde hair with pink robes and a great aura emitting from her body. There was Dark with his black skin and red veins, enormous jaws and orange eyes. The 4 Ancients had gathered in one place. Dark was afraid. VERY afraid.
"ARE YOU AFRAID SCOURGE!?" asked Uranus.
"I do not feel fear I administer it!" said Dark.
"FOOL!! YOU ARE AFRAID. AFRAID THAT YOU MIGHT LOSE EVERYTHING!!!" said Uranus.
"Come one step near me and I will kill these generals the most gruesome way eyes will ever view." said Dark.
"SURE.....I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY!!!" said Uranus. Then Uranus ran at Dark and grabbed him by the throat. Dark was then BLASTED against the wall with the force and speed of a comet. Darks back nearly burst from the impact.
"HHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAH!!!!!" screamed Dark once again insanely.
”No...he has something up his sleeve." said Flames. Dark blasted black energy around him. The energy embraced him so much he couldn't be seen.
"What's going on?" asked GOS. No one answered. No one knew.

Then the black energy blasted forth. Everyone was horrified. Before they could react Dark burst into the underground. Dark had transformed."I have many other forms." said Dark. Dark had become a huge serpent thing. Black skin, red veins, tentacle-like hair, and he had huge jaws.
"Where is he?" asked dp. As if to answer his question Serpent Dark came up and chomped.
"WE CANNOT HANDLE THIS FORM OF DARK!!! IF WE PERISH THE ONLY FORCES OF LIGHT EXTINGUISH!" said the three and disappeared.
"Thanks for the help." said Flames sarcastically......

Outlander shook his head. The air around him still glowed brightly. He was eager for a fight, but knew the desperate place they were in. He turned to Flames.
"So much for almighty ancient powers... they did a heck of a lot. I never put much stock in all that anyways... you get cynical after a thousand years in the under realms." He grinned, "Looks like it is up to us."
Flames shook his head
"We must destroy him... but how?"
"Circumstances will have to dictate," Outlander replied.
He pointed his blade forward, as if measuring the distance ahead. Suddenly, the Dark Serpent appeared. It leaped forward, but Outlander did not move. It struck at him, but, allowing his power to surge into his word, he leaped up and caught the fiend in the jaw with a mighty blow, sending it reeling back. It backed off, for a moment, but Outlander saw its eyes burning in the shadows. Flames and GOS came to his side and also stood watching.
"How did he survive that blow?" Outlander wondered out loud. "It didn't even seem to pierce his foul hide. That blow could have slain a thousand gods..." Outlander shook his head.
"He is mightier than the gods" Said GOS.
"I noticed," snapped back Outlander.
"But that's not what worries me. I am beginning to wonder if there is any way to defeat the fiend at all. “The three ancients fought him but failed, we have exhausted our powers trying to do the same. None of our weapons have been effective, not because we are weak, but because Dark is a trickster and has learned to counter all our weapons."
Flames and GOS just stood in silence. GOS turned to reorganize the armies, he couldn't leave them in disarray. Flames and Outlander remained to watch Dark.

A thought came into Outlander's mind. Dark could counter all weapons, all light. Or could he? Outlander seemed to hear a resounding "no". But if he could be defeated by light, where could that light be obtained? Were there other lights.... Outlander stood stock still. It was nonsense. Worse still, it was dangerous. But it was a chance, a better one than they had now. Outlander turned to Flames.
"There is hope."
"There is always hope," replied Flames.
"But I can see this hope clearly. This is not mere hope, but a chance."
Flames furrowed his brow.
"What is this chance? I see none as of yet."
Outlander looked Flames in the eye. He knew what he was about to say would seem like madness, insanity. But it was their last chance. And he couldn't do it on his own.
"Our hope lies under the world, under even the under realms. I told you that we are not weak, but that Dark knows our weapons and our light. But there is a light Dark does not know, or at least, there is tell of one. When the worlds were made, this light was trapped beneath them. And there it waits, even to this day. It is not a power in and of itself, nor is it a mighty weapon. But it is the last light unknown to Dark. One of us must go down into the under realm and find this light. He must release it, and send it to the worlds. And the other generals must wait for it. They must fend Dark off until then."
"And what will happen to the one that goes to the under realm after this light is released? Where is his hope?" Flames asked.
"He will have to make his own," Outlander replied.
Outlander looked about him at the armies, the enemies, and the future.
"I will go, for I alone know the way," He said.

IF no longer stood alone in the realm of white. Around him stood figures. In flowing white robes. With the obsidian symbol of Set marking the front and back. A crystal engraved with ancient runes hung around their necks. A tiny pendant half of white marble the other of blackest obsidian inlaid with delicate tracing of gold. IF was amazed. Every single one was a perfect clone of him! Each in unison spoke to him.
"Do not be alarmed. Each time you skip from one dimension to another you create a copy of yourself. Each of us has your power. Your memories. You are us. We are you."
IF was stunned. This was perplexing. Something to ponder after the banishing of Dark. Again they astounded him. Each one but one took the crystal in their hands and began to summon the energy to weaken Dark. All but one. He spoke,"concentrate all your powers on the crystal. I shall be your eyes."
IF trusted him. He knew he could trust him. IF placed all of his energy into the crystal summoning more of the energy. He closed his eyes and so did all of the copies. Soon the entire area was filled with IFs. And more continued to arrive created by the teleportations of the others. The orbs of light grew brighter and larger as more congregated in the same place. Soon thousands of orbs glowed brightly. Each with the diameter of a tour bus with the brightness of a star, yet still they grew larger and so did the crowd. This truly was going to be a force to be reckoned with. Soon they would have enough power to wound Dark so greatly that he would be weaker then a caterpillar.
"It is time..."
All of the copies threw their orbs into IF's. The massive explosion of power nearly stunned him. The massive orb was the size of a moon it shone so brightly that all of Erebus would be illuminated. One prepared to open a gate. IF was coming, Dark's hours on Earth were numbered...

So it was only DP,WTB, GOS, and Flames ready to fight SD. SD just dug all around Erebos. Periodically leaping up to attack." You will all lose!" said SD. This time he remained on the surface. WTB drew his blade and attacked alongside with GOS, DP and Flames tried to attack from the back. SD smashed WTB and GOS with his tongue and smashed Flames and DP with his tail. All 4 generals were hurt. SD then dug underground again. This time crashing rocks into the air. Flames was pelted with one. Then SD burst from the ground his jaws wide open at Flames. Flames tried to block with his spear by putting the spear on the tips of the top and bottom jaw but failed. He bashed against the ground bleeding. His cuts black and fleshy."When will this fiend fall dammit..." said Flames weakly

Outlander turned from the other generals. He looked deep at Dark. And then -- He vanished. As Outlander sunk deep into the under realm. He sensed more light on the way.
"But it will not be strong enough... unless it has new light to wield... the light of the under realm"
He continued to sink. He began to mull his past over in his mind. His people were once great... but they had fallen. Perhaps it was his fault... perhaps Armageddons... perhaps Odin's. It really didn't matter. He remembered the joy he used to feel in battle... why was it gone now. Maybe the stakes were a bit higher now. He was gambling with the universe here. He had never meant to be a hero... it just kind of happened.
"I guess that's the way it always happens" Thought Outlander.
But like it or not, here he was, going into the land he had spent a thousand years trying to escape from. Perhaps he would die. Worse still -- perhaps he wouldn't.
But He knew what he had to do. That last undefilied light was down there -- he merely needed to release it. If he could get underneath the under realm, it shouldn't be hard to find... and if it wasn't defended, it would be easy to release. But that was wishful thinking. He shook his head.

He needed a drink.

He hit the ground with a fury that startled him. The ground began to crack. Several large Ogre like forms stirred and began to walk towards him. They snorted green fire from their jaws. Outlander acted quickly. He aimed his blade at the nearest foe. A beam of light leaped from the weapon and struck the creature in the chest. The beast flew back and did not rise again. Another leaped at him from behind, but Outlander sensed it and drove the blade into the foe's open mouth and deep into its throat. The creature fell back spurted black blood from its mouth. Another beast fell headless with a fiery blast from Outlander's blade, and yet another now writhed in its own blood, screaming in some forgotten tongue. Now a small lithe creature leaped from the cavern wall. It thrust a small iron spear at Outlander. He dodged it easily and sent a blast of blue fire at the attacker. The cavern was lit with Outlander's fearless fire. Another best emerged from no where and hurled an axe at Outlander. "Here goes just about everything" he said grimly
He thrust his blade deep into the ground. A fiery shock wave radiated into every corner, cutting down all enemies in the area. The ground cracked. Once again, Outlander found himself falling.

He landed waist deep in a liquid.

He waded toward something in the distance. But a slimly tentacle grabbed his leg. He severed it with one blow, but at once a dozen more emerged. But he was in a hurry, and not exactly in a good mood. He sunk his blade deep into the invisible head. The tentacles stopped flailing. The creature was gone. He turned around. He could see the light now. Calling him. His blade glowed with a deadly light danger ahead.

The ground was dry now, and in the light he could see a great army, guarding this light. He was one power, alone. unaided.

He charged.

The foes were tough, he struck the first rank with a few heavy cutting blows. But they gave as good as they got. They were al around him now. It was all he could do to press on -- he worried little about his safety. He caught a blow across the face. He staggered, and then gave a mighty swing with his weapon. A dozen warriors fell around him. He leaped high into the air toward the light. He came down in the midst of the enemy with a shock. They flew back. He slashed on. A blow to the side, and then forward. In the Chest and then at the head. He was covered in blood now, some his own, some, the yellow blood of his foes. He gave a battle cry. A light flashed from his blade, knocking a line of foes off their feet. An arrow struck him in the side. It was no ordinary arrow, but one that could have killed a hundred ordinary men. But Outlander fought on. All was chaos, but he was almost to the light. With a few desperate slashes he was there. He smashed the bars around it with his bare hands
A key.

He sent a wall of blue fire back at the army
"That ought to hold them for a few seconds" He thought.
He leaped into the air and flashed into the tunnel behind the key' cage. A huge troll greeted him. There was no was no way around. So Outlander went through. He drew his blade, summoned his power and tore into and through the creature. He has covered in flesh and blood. He plunged on. A door. He fumbled for the key. A warrior, flashed from nowhere. He was mighty. Their blades clashed. The form sent a crashing blow at Outlander, but found the arm and grip sure. Outlander blocked feinted and parried. They fought for hours. Outlander could hear the army cutting its way through the carcass of the troll. But there was no way in but that. That carcass made an excellent gate. His opponent now sent a blow at Outlander's feet he jumped easily over it. He plunged at his foe, but the enemy was ready. The fiend drove deep into Outlander's shoulder, pinning him to the cavern wall. He clenched his teeth. His blade glittered in the lightless chamber. The foe drew his dagger to finish Outlander off.
The light was in a flask of glass.

Outlander smashed the flask. He was knocked of his feet. The light rushed out of the chamber, out of the under realm, but where it went then, Outlander knew not.

Outlander turned around. The army was waiting. He'd have to find his own hope.

IF saw the burst of white energy explode from the rift and stream towards the awaiting globe. But instead it focused on IF and filled him with its power. Knowledge from millenias past flooded his brain. Everything became clear. His entire body began to be filled with the sheer energy. His eyes opened. He had no pupils, no iris and no white. Only a strange white glow. The enormous globe seemed trivial compared to this.
His voice was no longer his. Instead it was a strange ancient voice. It whispered words long forgotten. The globe increased in size ten fold. Still it seemed infinitesimal. Again he whispered in ancient words and again the orb increased ten fold now the size of a planet. Then it was shrunk into a tiny orb that could fit in his palm though none of its power was gone. Only compressed and focused. The time of reckoning had come. IF took his other hand and pointed it at the copies.
"Si conalsi declornas sedi gelchis delcolaq"
The copies' faces had a terrified expression and suddenly the copies' were surrounded by a white nearly invisible flame. All of these flew into his palm, into the orb. All of them collapsed. Their souls had been taken to feed the orb. IF grabbed the gate pendant and prepared to teleport to Earth where Dark would finally be banished.

SD plunged into the ground. This time for 30 minutes he did not come up. Then the ground or rather part of the ground burst open. Dark had transformed.. again. This time a a huge four legged spider. His great jaws dripped with blue and black blood. His eyes smoking. The smoke smelled like burning intestines. Then AD (Arachnid Dark) shot to the ceiling of Erebos. He crawled menacingly, and dropped back down. He opened up his mouth. Then in an explosion of blue fire the generals were nearly killed if they had not dodged the stream of super heated air. All of the generals lodged their spears into AD. AD grabbed DP with his tongue. Then his tongue inserted into DP's mouth. Then, while inside dp's body, the tongue then had a hole opened up. From the hole acid blasted out. DP then burned from the inside out. If you were near him you could literally hear his flesh smoking and crackling from the acid. Then smoke left dp's head like a chimney. DP's skin then fried and burned. All that was lef
"Stay here and hold off AD. I'll help Outlander it s been hours since he left." said Flames
"Thanks alot. You leaving will make this battle easier." said WTB looking at AD for what he'll do next. Flames headed down and found Outlander..

AD was slaughtering GOS and WTB. They were all incredibly injured. "NOW THIS ENDS... ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!!!" screamed AD. "This is my final form." said AD. He started to transform in the black energy as he had done before. He emerged. He was Hell in a physical state. His wrists were flesh. Bloody skulls appeared on the fleshy wrists. His hands had claws that were so sharp that could cut Admantium in a fraction of a second. His jaws were enormous. The teeth had holes in them. Inside the holes came smoke. Smoke that smelled like the burning and roasting of eyes. He had three tongues. One with an eye. One with lined with holes that you could see the insides of that tongue. And one lined with teeth. His head was filled with not Dark's flesh. But a bit of flesh from a million humans. He had ENORMOUS wings. The nerves of the wings glowing in black and orange blood. His hair was as before but his head was multiple eyes."My name is.... Blood Dark." the thing said...

Morgoth had returned to his library, desperate to find a weakness in Dark. He still hadn't found anything. Then he remembered the scroll which he had meant to show to Flames or IF. Taking it out, he was shocked to find that it had changed. It was no longer in the ancient language . . . or was it? The writing didn't look any different, but it was making sense.
Morgoth looked it over. This might work out. He could tell from the sand-maps that the others were following the right course. It just needed something else. Morgoth knew that he couldn't provide all of what was still required, but he had a part to play and it would probably destroy him.
"Chaos, I know what is required of me now."
"Good."
Calling upon all of the power that had been given to him, Morgoth absorbed the library's contents, feeling the ancient knowledge flow into him. The library had become a bare cavern.
"Now it is time."
Morgoth teleported out of the cavern - and inside Dark.
"WHAT IS THIS!" Dark shouted.
"Just a puny little general," Morgoth whispered in Dark's mind. "A puny little general which has become the embodiment of chaos. You will in the coming time notice confusion, dizynes, weakness, and possibly insanity. Enjoy."
Morgoth began his work, disrupting Dark from the inside.
This would be his last stand. He hoped it would be enough to give the others the needed edge.

He had been fighting for hours. He was exhausted. The enemy just continued to come. And they were getting tougher. Bigger. Faster. He had fought his way out of the light chamber, but couldn't decide what do next. Not that it would help if he could decide.
"Is this how I'll spend eternity?" He wondered.
It wasn't exactly an appealing thought. He brushed it aside.

He kept fighting. He was up to the troll corpse now. He fought through the constant stream of enemy troops pouring through the giant hole through the carcass. A rather gristly tunnel indeed. But he saw an excellent chance, now he was in the open. He sent a slashing blow deep into the enemy formation on the left. The area cleared a bit. The army retreated a feet feet on all sides to regroup. He was still surrounded, but he was getting a breather. He needed it.

Then he sensed. Many things. Something had accepted the light -- Dark's doom was sure. Outlander laughed. He had succeeded. But there was something else. It puzzled him a little, but then he realized what it was. It was help. He hadn't had any for a long time. But who was it? He focused his mind, thankful for the few seconds he had for such things. It was flames. He was sinking through the earth, following the thought trail Outlander had left. Now he came to the large chamber in the under realm.
"Find the crack I made and fell through" Outlander thought he tried to think the thought to Flames... and Flames seemed to respond...

The army was back on him. A huge warrior, almost twice as tall as Outlander, rushed toward him. He leapt high into the air, swung around and neatly decapitated the giant. Help was on the way... even if it was only one man. Two had better chances then one. New energy surged into Outlander. He swung with such ferocity as had never been seen before. His blade glowed blue while his free hand burned with a blue fire which he hurled towards all foes. He swung his blade around behind him. The air lit up with power, and a huge group of enemy troops flew back. But now they were fighting him back to the walls of the cliff... An axe swung at him. He ducked it and rammed his blade into its wielder. But another axe swung.

It caught him full in the stomach.

The axe was a poor one, the blow was weakly aimed, and Outlander's ancient armor held. But he was thrown against the cliff wall his blade out of reach.

A soldier raised his sword to finish Outlander.

But the blow never fell. Rather, the soldier did.

And where that fell warrior once stood, now stood flames. Outlander grabbed his sword. He dove back into battle, shoulder to shoulder with Flames.
"You're late" Outlander said.
"Sorry. I had to finish my massage session" Flames laughed back.
"Looks like I didn't have to invent my own hope after all" Outlander replied. "But let's whip these skunks"

Flames' great spear took an almighty toll. He swung around and caught a massive creature with a mace in the jaw before it had a chance to swing. With raw will he hurled a group of soldiers to the left deep in shallow lake. But before he was fully prepared, a gigantic warrior, they were getting bigger, swung his deadly sword at Flames. The general ducked, barely avoiding the stroke. But Outlander leaped over flames and the blow and, readying his blade, knocked the creature's right arm off. Flames leaped up and sunk his spear deep into the foe. Outlander decapitated another warrior trying to join in this little skirmish. And then he saw it. A gap in the ranks. Flames saw it too. In a flash, they had both rushed though it, Flames a little ahead, Outlander right behind him aiming an occasional blow at some poor fool's head.

They reached the water. But what now? The army was right behind them. They splashed into the water. The army stopped at the beach. A few arrows flew at them, but the two soldiers soon outpaced even these.

They were safe. For now.

"Thank you Outlander." said Flames in the water.
"Thanks for what?" asked Outlander.
"For joining with us." said Flames, smiling,"Now i will head for Dark." Flames then entered the battle with Dark hours later. Dark was now Hell.
"You've returned." said Blood Dark. The smoke reaching higher as his anger grew. BD lunged at Flames. Flames dodged but BD strangled Flames with his tongues. WTB and GOS jumped ran behind BD to slash. But since BD had eyes beneath his hair he noticed and smacked them away. They went flying like a meteor. Dark then felt what morgoth had done to him."AAhahhaahaAAAAH!" BD screamed. His mind was being torn apart. he did not feel pain. He just screamed because of the aggravation of not focusing on to kill Flames. But he managed to punch Flames, weakly. Flames went flying and was unconscious. He had a dream..

A drop of water dropped in the black abyss then another. A deer bent over to drink the water. Then it fell, dead. Dew fell from the leaves. The dewy leaves were attached to a branch. The crisp morning sun's light fell on the branch. Then two birds landed. They started to sing. There melodies rang through the dream forest. Golden feathered birds singing about life. The hardships, the happinesses, the friends. Then they fell, too, off the branch, dead. They will never again spread there wings and sing there melodies..... then a picture of Flames' past flashed. It flashed again. It was his families' bodies. Charred and scorched. Their burned flesh smoked in there Egyptian air. This time a drop fell like the beginning in the dream. but it wasn't a water drop or dew. It was a tear... a tear from young Flames' viewing this site. He cried. and cried. He heard the melody of the birds again. And dream Flames went to sleep... not shedding tears anymore...
Flames awoke seeing BD still in his fit of rage. He felt a huge strength inside of him burning mightier than the sun...... He was now inspired to fight to the end..

The Gate opened and IF prepared to skip dimensions. The soulless shells stood their. And would stay there for eternity. Completely soulless. And that could be a problem if Dark could use them so IF didn't close the gate. With his free hand he materialized his staff and pointed it at the masses of clones. From the staff a jet of burning sand exploded combined with a searing white light. The entire area was incinerated. Thousands of empty shells were vaporised. More clones continued to appear. This wasn't working. The strange orb continued to steal away their souls. Adding more and more to its power. But still they continued to come. This was completely fruitless. There was no way to stem the flow of IFs. But he had to continue. The orb absorbed and the sands destroyed. Yet still they continued to arrive. This may be beneficial but it was becoming very annoying and it was wasting precious time. There had to be a way to seal the realm but that wouldn't prevent him from banishing Dark he"Curses! Blasted copies!"
IF had an inspirational moment. From his staff he summoned three phoenix. One of light, one of sand and one of both.
"phoenix! Kill anyone who lives within this realm!!!"
With that the two phoenix began scorching the copies. The half-breed turned towards IF. IF opened the gate and vanished just as the phoenix opened its mouth and let loose a scorching belch of sand and light. IF reappeared to see the terrible form of Dark looming over the battlefield.

Morgoth was struggling to hold on to reality, to not lose himself completely. Suddenly, he realized that he was struggling too much. It was true that he wouldn't be any good if he lost himself too early, but he needed to flow with things, be random to succeed.
Loosening his grip, he created new disturbances in the essence of Darkness, blending it, making it impure.
Dark screamed in shock, but recovered quickly. A little meddling wouldn't be enough. Morgoth needed the others, needed more light to blend in with the dark, needed to work harder, needed someone to make the final blow.
There was no time, just the effort. Morgoth let go a little more, barely clinging to his consciousness of self . . .

Flames was moved to the point of great strength. Flames shed 2 tears and drew his spear. He was ready. To banish Dark forever. "I KNEW IT WOULD COME TO THIS!!! I'M SORRY!! YOU'VE TRIED HARD BUT YOU STILL SHALL FAIL!!!" said BD, still struggling a BIT from morgoth's mind attack. Flames rushed to morgoth's side who was losing consciousness. "Don't worry we're here to help you morgoth. If those 2 birds taught me one thing life is filled with crap but also friendship and light," said Flames. BD was looming over ready to smite anyone that was to fight him. He then noticed IF on the sand phoenix. "YOU!? YOU!? YOU ANNOY ME IMMENSELY!!! I'LL KILL YOU....I'LL KILL YOU..I'LL KILL YOU TO!!!!!!!" screamed BD. He blasted at IF. IF just took his staff and struck BD with light. BD was blown back unhurt....... but was more ready than ever to kill IF

IF easily reflected Dark's attack. Maintaining the integrity of the mighty orb in his palm. It could wait. First he would torment the nemesis of the world. He pointed his staff and let loose a beam of light which struck Dark in the forehead.
"HHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! FOOLISH MORTAL YOU CAN'T BEAT ME!!!!!"
Dark was becoming over-confident. Just as IF had planned.
Again Dark attacked. But yet again his attack was deflected.
"Your rage is blinding you Dark... focus you're mind. Oh thats right you can't because one of us puny mortals is destroying your mind!"
IF started laughing. A laugh that mocked Dark. His rage was truly evident. He was smoking like a thousand coal burning factories. Everything was going as planned.
Dark attacked with his massive fists. Attacking without rhythm or strategy. He was simply flailing his arms in IF's direction wildly. His mind was open for morgoth to destroy. IF was easily dodging Dark's attacks. His new powers granting him incredible speed. And he kept laughing at Dark. And Dark became angrier and angrier. IF saw his thoughts and lithely dodged the tentacle exploding from the ground. Still he laughed.
"You're pathetic Dark! Look at us puny mortals destroying your mind. Dodging your attacks without breaking a sweat."
IF slammed his staff into one of the exploding tentacles. Dark screamed in pain.
"And causing you so much pain. You are truly pathetic!"
Dark's rage intensified. And IF kept laughing. Mocking Dark.

"YOU DO NOT DARE MOCK ME!!!!!" screamed BD. He shot at IF. IF, as before, dodged. He kept laughing. BD couldn't concentrate because of morgoth. Then Flames lodged his spear into BD's head. It severed his brain functions. BD now was truly falling. But as much as he was being beaten he kept going. BD's actions were slowing down. He seemed as if he would fall asleep. "Damned mortals...you truly are strong..... WELL YOU THINK YOU ARE POWERFUL!!!!" screamed BD. He let loose a sphere of BLASTING blue fire. It damaged morgoth inside him, let Flames' spear flying and hit IF with amazing force. "THERE THAT IS PROOF THAT I WILL NEVER FALL!!!!" BD said. BD was truly giving them a fight. a hard one.....

IF was singed by the blue fire. He held fast to the orb.
"Dark is that the best you can do? Come on you have to be stronger then that! Lets see what you go."
"YOU FOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW DIE!!!!"
Dark opened his palms and pointed them at IF. From his hands exploded a massive ball of blue fire.
"No you don't!"
IF raised a wall of sand several meters thick to deflect Dark's blast. But it wasn't enough. At the last moment IF just barely managed to dodge the massive fire ball. The fire hit the ground with tremendous force exploding.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU LOSE LITTLE MORTAL!"
A beam of light streamed out of the cloud and hit Dark with tremendous force knocking him backwards a foot.
"Guess you were wrong."
IF pointed his staff at Dark.
"Sephge"
>From the staff exploded a stream of tiny orbs encircled with rings of sand. The tiny orbs bombarded the area around Dark. Rarely hitting him and doing even less damage.
"CURSE YOU WEAKLING MORTAL!!!!!!" screamed Dark his anger growing.
IF stopped his bombardement. It was time. Only a little more. Then he saw a small band of soldiers.
"Si conalsi declornas sedi gelchis delcolaq"
Their souls parted and fled into the orb. That was the last piece of the puzzle.
"Dark you're end is now!"

BD was horrified."Damn this... I Have had enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" screamed BD that it shook the planet. He lunged at IF strangling him. "It's over." said BD, his vile-smelling smoke choking IF. WTB, GOS and Flames then violently stabbed BD. Blood was not affected and merely came after GOS. He lunged and punched GOS so hard he twisted his spine to the point of breaking. GOS was out and now Flames was truly afraid. He jabbed but it missed. Blood dodged and grabbed Flames." I HAVE THE FLESH OF 1 MILLION HUMANS IN ME. YOU WILL BE 1,000,001!" said Blood.
"You sure about that!?" said IF... Blood turned around..

"You sure about that Dark. Do you really think that I am mortal?"
"WHAT! I KNOW YOU ARE! I HAVE BATTLED YOU MANY TIMES!"
"No you haven't. Not like this."
"YOU LIE!"
"No I don't."
Then Dark realized. The eyes.
"YOUR EYES....."
"YOU HAVE FINALLY REALIZED YOU DULL MORON. YOU FIGHT NOT A MORTAL. YOU FIGHT AN ANCIENT POWER, THE CRUSADER OF LIGHT FROM MILENNIAS PAST! YOU WILL NOT WIN!"
"No....... YOU DON'T! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN? THE MOON? RING ANY BELLS? NOW IT APPROACHES NOT MUCH LONGER NOW. THEN THIS WHOLE PLANET WILL BE DOOMED!"
Dark started laughing maniacally.
But IF was calm. He pointed his staff to the roof of Erebus. A tiny beam of scorching sand shot up making a tiny hole all the way to the surface. Down the whole cam a single moon beam. And with it came Phoebe.
"You treacherous slime Dark! How dare you use my own planet as a weapon! You will pay for this!"
"PHEOBE YOU ARE PATHETIC. YOU CANNOT HOPE TO DEFEAT ME!" yelled Dark.
"I don't care! I will not be a coward and let you destroy my home!"
"THEN YOU WILL PERISH ALONG WITH IT!" Dark reached out with a massive hand. Reaching for Phoebe.

Many men and monsters were crossing the Styx, always added to the realm of the dead. pm2k knew the battle was occurring, yet he was stuck in the blasted place. It was infuriating! He had to help, pm2k said to himself as he paced Elysium. The obvious thing to do would bring an army to BD, he was conveniently located with many heroic shades nearby, yet Hades refused to allow it. As if they ever saw Hades himself. And that was why he was sneaking around the black marble palace.

Pm2k finally found the door on the opposite side of the palace. He stole inside waiting for the repercussion of the god, but it never came. "The invisibility cap!" said pm2k out loud.
"Yes, this little thing is very helpful" said a voice. But it wasn't hades, this was another minion of evil. "Bastard," said pm2k. He flung himself upon the minion howling “where is the god Hades!”
"Oh, he wanted to pay a visit to the poor souls who are locked up in Tartarus." cackled the regent.
”My, what an idiot” thought pm2k as he grabbed the magic helm from behind the monster. The invisible shade jumped upon the vile servant of dark, launching huge blows at him. They fought for many hours, but you cannot kill the dead. Eventually, Hades was back in the throne room.
"THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME!" boomed the god "YOU MAY SEND ALL THE SHADES FROM ELYSIUM WHO ARE WILLING!" pm2k rushed out and flew as fast as he could to Elysium, the flow of dead had ceased, the generals must be fighting with dark! Soon, there was an army of great heroes longing for battle. They also were allowed to use Charon's ferry to rush them towards the battle.

The shades poured from the boat, with pm2k screaming at the head. "You didn't think I had forgotten, did you!?" yelled the shade of pm2k. Though the horde was weak, it gave the heroes a moral boost.
"Bah! I sent minions to kill all of you years ago! No matter, you will still lose" said BD. "HA-HA-HA-HA!!!!!" he cackled. "the moon is coming!"

Blood reached for Pheobe. He grabbed him and strangled. Very hard.
"SOME RESISTANCE YOU WERE!" said Blood. He threw Pheobe aside and proceeded to IF. Pheobe then rushed at him again but Blood Dark blocked and then ripped off his arm. Once again he smacked him. Pheobe came rushing again but Blood was annoyed. He nearly incinerated him completely with a blast of blue fire....

Morgoth continued his struggle inside of BD. When the blue blast had tried to lodge him loose, he could only laugh.
"Dark, you think that you can destroy me without destroying yourself? There is nothing of me to destroy, just you."
Taking advantage of the aid given to him by the other generals and IF in particular, Morgoth increased his efforts.
With a mighty force, he sent a jolt of pain through Dark.
"My last hours are going to be worth it."

Blood was going crazy. Morgoth was torturing him but Blood could only laugh.
"HAHAHAHHAH! IF YOU DO STOP ME YOU WILL STILL FAIL. THE MOON WILL SOON EXTERMINATE EVERYTHING!!!" laughed Blood...

IF laughed, "DARK YOU FORGOT ME AGAIN! LEW DEY LYDS SHET!"
IF struck his staff against the ground. The sound was deafening. From the top of the staff a swirling storm of sand exploded. All of Erebus shook under the incredible force. The sheer force destroyed the ledge upon which he stood. IF tumbled onto the solid ground still pointing the staff at the moon. When the staff touched the ground it caved in making a massive crater. Slowly the moon backed away. IF continued to destroy the area and back up the moon.
"NO YOU WON'T!!!!!" screamed Dark. Dark focused as much as he could on bringing down the moon and it reacted quickly lurching back to Earth.
"Tsk tsk Dark!"
Phoebe charged Dark knocking him off balance.
"YOU IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Dark screamed again.
Dark groped for Phoebe's neck and began to squeeze. He took his other hand and began punching his guts. Pheobe's pain was evident. Dark became even more vicious. He started clawing away Phoebe. Tearing him to shreds. Then he let go and Pheobe tumbled down and fell into blissful un-consciousness. Even as he did Dark continued to tear him to pieces.
Suddenly the trembling stopped.
"IT IS OVER DARK. SAY GOOD BYE!"
"NO I WILL NEVER LEAVE!"
"THAT IS NOT FOR YOU TO DECIDE! NOW BE GONE!"
IF raised the orb and prepared to throw it.

Zalp felt something pressing his chest, something was knocking his head, a salty taste came to his mouth and then the soothing sound of the waves, Zalp opened his eyes, a seagull was looking at him, he grunted and the seagull flew away, he was floating in the ocean, he had been carried that far, it seemed that he had had victory over Cronus after all, Zalp came close to the beach, he came to his feet and walked a bit.
"At least I can walk" Zalp murmured, his entire body was shaking, his back had cuts for the rocks and his mind was whirling.
"I should take some rest before continuing" Zalp looked at his clothes, they were ragged. "I need some healing and makeup too," he laughed. He walked towards a palm and there he sat. He took out his black mirror, it was some damaged, but he could still look into it, there he saw his allies fighting against Dark. "I shall meet them at once, but not alone," He talked to his army while they were sleeping "Go to the far side of the mountains, I'll be waiting for you there," The army heard the voice of his master and felt happy of hearing him again...

Dark was falling.
"This is it. let's finish him." said Flames. Flames drew his spear and ran at Blood. He stabbed Blood hard.
"DAMN YOU!!" screamed Blood. Then Flames concentrated every nerve and muscle in his body to release a blow that would truly wound Blood Dark Then an explosion like a supernova erupted from Flames' spear.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" screamed Blood Dark in pain, a deafening sound. All the bones in Blood were vaporized and blasted to dust. The bone dust then mixed with his blood. It was WTB's turn. WTB slashed and slashed. Blood kept screaming and hollering with pain. Then GOS and WTB both a gave a focused slash with the force of a meteor. Blood shot across Erebus and nearly burst open on impact. His face then burst. The blood mixed with bone dust flowed out of his face like a fountain. Before long he was drenched in the dusty blood, Dark was. Dark was limping falling. Now it was up to IF to banish Blood Dark...

"EXCELLENT WORK FLAMES!!!! NOW DIE DARK!!!!!!!!"
IF hurled the ball of light, the final blow. Dark screamed and suddenly the ball hit Dark. The sound was deafening. The entire world, Under realm, Erebus, Olympus, the nine worlds and the heavens, everything shook violently. The planet was close to breaking. The light flared. It was blindingly powerful. Like a million suns. The heat melted rocks. Even in all of this IF's voice could be heard opening the gate. And so could Dark's screams as he sped into the gate. When all of Dark was inside IF sang the final words to seal him away forever. The entire realm of white was locked from ever being opened again. The flood of clones stopped and the phoenix finished off the rest of the fleeing clones. Dark reformed slowly. The massive blast had completely destroyed him. After nearly an hour he was back and was constantly tortured by the white of the realm.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"It... is... finally... over...." IF collapsed.
The light faded and Flames found IF completely un-conscious. The area was in shambles. As fast as he could Flames dragged IF to a safer location where he could rest.
"Noooo..oo....oooo...ooo..ooo" Dark's voice faded. Morgoth was now well, his energy reunited with his body.
"Our journey has ended everyone." said Flames. The generals started to depart. Flames held IF unconscious in WTB's chariot... Flames days later returned to his Egyptian village. He then went to sleep at around midnight. This time, for the first time in years, the images of his family's bodies did not appear. Why? because Flames was sure he had avenged them....
THE END
Epilogue
IF was returned home by a few servants. He lay in bed for days. The day when he awoke IF met with Lymx the man who had been in charge of the Temple and IF's burial and a friend since the beginning of his apprenticeship to the Temples of Set.
"Ah good friend. Looks like your labors were in vain."
"No we left more room for the future."
"Ah that is good I have a feeling. A very bad feeling of horrors, stronger, more ruthless and even eviler then Dark.” Something he had seen before....
Outlander was still in under realms where he stood, contemplating the future. He had not returned with flames, but stood alone looking at that which he could not see. But a shattering awoke him from his musings. He looked up. He heard the scream of Dark.
The fiend was ended. The future had begun.
Outlander prepared to ascend to the surface. But something caught his eye. A book. Here, in the under realm? Impossible. but it was. Stranger still, the book had but one page, and it was only a few inches square... or was it? It seemed to grow and shrink whenever he needed it to. He decided to keep it. Might come in useful sometime.
He returned to the surface. But far below, where he had spent his thought, something laughed, hardly audible, yet fearsome. But Outlander pressed on.
Outlander left his armies to his Generals. They led the brave soldiers and their families into better lands in the North, where Thor became a powerful ally. Odin soon recovered his strength but did not attempt to thwart them.
But Outlander went back into the wilder lands. for something disturbed him... though he knew not what.
The War is never over.
Morgoth came to, alone in his cavern. The ordeal was over and he was surprised that he had made it intact.
Pacing back and forth, he decided that his time in this world was over. Time to find another. He was no longer truly Morgoth, it seemed as if who he had been had died. That name no longer worked. The Chaos-One. Yes, that seemed suitable. It was time to move on in many ways.
Taking one last look around him, he stepped out of the world he had known and into the unknown.
The shades were standing around the destruction, heading back to the afterlife. Only pm2k stayed, knowing that the gods would come to him soon.
"You have done well" said the voice of Zeus "Never again shall Dark return to this world, but there is another." continued the god.
"Another?" said pm2k.
"Yes, but your time is done. You have done well, but now your adventures must end." said the god. A blue light suddenly came through the roof of the cavern, absorbing pm2k.
"Your reward, brave one" said the fading voice of the thunderer. pm2k arose, stronger than ever, for he was now a god. He was now the great god of victory and the god of the crusading war.
After killing Cronus, Zalpacuiztli left his army now in a peaceful land, he went to Tartarus and visited his friend of old Hades, Hades thanked him and then Zalp returned to his lands in the West.
IF was waiting patiently in his room for a visitor. A shade popped through the wall.
"Hello Kemsyt. I see you were weakened by my control over most of your power."
"You... I will kill you!"
"Not likely."
IF opened the gate pendant. Kemsyt vanished into the Dark Realm. Something in IF told him that was a bad idea but what could Kemsyt do? He was weak. The blobs would probably eat his soul, if he had one...
