Always Ready to Heat Things Up

HotSauce has entertained thousands of fun-loving party people of all ages. From small pubs to corporate functions, weddings and special events of all kinds. We've played venues such as Flames Central (downtown Calgary), Stampede Big 4/RoundUp (BMO) Centre, Banff Springs Hotel, Chateau Lake Louise and many other hotels, community halls and outdoor festivals. Our collective backgrounds with many former bands include original indie/small label albums, tours, TV/radio appearances, fulltime work on cruise ships and countless hours on stages of every kind.

These days HotSauce is mainly a weekends-only pursuit and we like to stick fairly close to home in Calgary. We are a group of good friends still doing this mostly for fun and the pure joy of playing music. This is a band the really loves to play! We're just as happy to jam in a nice local pub as we are a large function. We are always trying out new material and we have the depth to fine-tune our song list to suit the crowd. Our 'bar' sets are often quite different from 'corporate' sets but we always keep it danceable and fun.

On the business side, HotSauce strives for quality and professionalism. We carry our own high-end sound/light systems to deliver a consistently impressive show. We can control our volume in small rooms and comfortably scale up to larger venues. For very large events with over 1000 guests we can easily work with house or 3rd party show services as required. On the day of the event we take care of everything so you won't have to worry. We 'really are' reliable and easy to deal with.

We are always happy to include use of our sound system for speeches and DJ music as required. The 'HotSauce iPod' is always on hand for soft dinner music and mixed party tunes between live sets. For a small extra cost we also offer the services of an experienced PRO club DJ (house/top 40) to work the crowd, play requests and keep everyone dancing between live band sets.
