About Me
I began researching my family tree when I took an early retirement in 1999 after the passing of several family members. Since that date it has kept me busy both on-line and making the odd trip or two for first hand research.
My father was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada and relocated to British Columbia, Canada after the Second World War. Nova Scotia is the first real source of hard information about our family dating from the mid 1700’s.
My employment history was 35 years working for Canada’s largest bank. I am married and have two grown children. I continue to live in British Columbia with my wife and two rat terriers.
