| The WYLIE family is an ancient family with their earliest roots dating back to the 1100's where they first appear in the records of Dumfriesshire and also trace their ancestry to Strathclyde Briton. Through the centuries the WYLIE family was affiliated with many different clans through marriage, the GUNN family being one directly affiliated. The WYLIE family also has a tartan, shown below. |
