The Williams family traces their ancestral roots back to Welsh origin, and first appeared in ancient medieval records in Wales. First found in Breconshire and Monmouthshire on the English/Welsh border, where the Williams family was seated from very ancient times. Our Williams family originated from the county of Devonshire, England; namely Lympstone. This homepage contains one one "Williams" from the mid 1700's.
