Origin of Name

The "Nott" family name is of Anglo Saxon origin and trace their ancestors back to the 11th and 12 centuries. The name first appeared in ancient medieval records in Derbyshire, Wales. Our Nott family originated from the county of Devonshire, England; namely Morchard Bishop. This homepage contains only one "Nott" from the 1700's.
