Origin of Name

The "Conway" family name is of Irish origin and trace their ancestors back to the 14th century where the name can be found as early as 1360. The name first appeared in ancient medieval records in Donegal, Ireland. Our Conway family originated from the county of Devonshire, England; namely Morchard Bishop.
