According to the Harleian Manuscripts housed in the British Museum in London, England, "Goodmans" were found in Cheshire, Hertfordshire, Leicestershire, Northampton & Sussex. Our "Goodman" family originated from the county of Lancashire, England; namely Wrightington, Oldham, and Chorley. From England, our line of the family immigrated to Taber, Alberta, Canada and from there to various other parts of Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada, in addition to Utah and Oregon in the United States. |
