A CUSTOM SPECIAL BODY BY GRISWOLD FOUND!!
We continue locating Graham cars for this lands. Recently, we located a 1928/9 Graham-Paige Phaeton by Griswold. The car was introduced originally in Uruguay country (right hand drive). Now, his owner wants to change to left hand drive, and therefore I'm helping him to find some parts that need to make this conversion (steering gear, block, etc.) Also, I'm supporting him with some much documentation to complete the restoration of this car to concours condition. I believe that this car deserve it, do you agree? Ok folks, I expect to report much more activities related with GPs in the short future.
I'm planning to organize the First meeting of Grahams in Argentina during this year. I'll keep you posted.

Kindest regards,

Hugo

RECEIVED September 2, 2004

Hi Friends of the GOCI ! !I want to share with you the last activities that we realized in Argentina. The weekend of 17, 18 and 19 of September, was celebrated in Argentina "Autoclasica", the most important classic car show of South America. Almost 500 cars and 200 cycles in concours condition were presented. Almost 30,000 people visited the exhibition. Very important and unique cars were displayed. Some of them winners of Pebble Beach and other famous events. A lot of car clubs, automobilia, reproductions, etc. etc. presented. Inside of this show, the Graham Owners Club - The South America Region presented a Stand, and exhibited 3 cars: Graham-Paige Sedan 1928 of Candelaria and Herman Zapp Graham-Paige Phaeton 1929 of Agueda and Emilio Menvielle Graham-Paige Roadster 1930 of Silvia and Hugo Semperena (Autoclasica 2000 - 1° Prize Winner - Class American Vintage) Our Stand was one of the most visited, specially due to the presence of the Zapps, who all the weekend explained their incredible journey, meanwhile they are preparing the complete book of the long trip. Also the people surprised with our Club, and the quality of the cars. The Stand also included some automobilia related to GP, advertising and technical information. We connected new owners of Grahams around the country, and we
reached a new membership, owner of a very good 1929 4 Door Sedan. Our updated list of Grahams located in Argentina reach 60 cars and almost 40 owners. We delivered copy of the Model 612 User Manual, that help to the owners complete and improve the restoration. also we advised a lot of people in all the related to parts, accessories, and maintenance of the Graham Cars. Attached please find some pictures of the event and of the stand. After that I will send another pictures. Now we are planning a meeting in November/December to join with a lot of Graham owners and their families. Also, we are very close to present a local web page. As soon as is ready I will inform you.
