Lift
is produced by creating a greater pressure under the wing than above it.


Weight
is the force exerted on an object by gravity.

 



Thrust is a reaction force.  When a system expels or accelerates mass in one direction to propel a vehicle in the opposite direction.

Drag is the sum of all the aerodynamic forces opposing the motion of the object.
