Tanka

Tanka was used to respond to Haiku in ancient Japanese courtship.  It has two more lines of seven syllables each than Haiku.

In the summer rain,
The sweet roses grow once more.
They get picked for gifts,
They're a wonderful surprise.
For little girls all over.
