Quatrains

 Quatrains are four line rhyming poems.  There are 4 different rhyme patterns you can use.  
AABB  ABAB  ABBA ABCB  

A series of quatrains can tell a story called a ballad.

I know a kid named Mike,
He was going to the store.
He fell off his big bike,
And he was chased by a boar.
