Donnovan Workun

Donovan Workun has wowed crowds for over ten years with his fast paced high energy Improv comedy. As a founding member of The Atomic Improv Co. he has performed countless shows from the Yukon to Mexico from Vancouver Island to The Grand Cayman Islands, always delivering his astonishing brand of Improv.. Atomic Improv has been featured in several C.B.C. t.v. and radio comedy special, and was twice voted both the best Comedy act and Variety act, of the year by the Canadian association of colleges and universities. Donovan's Talents have made him a crowd favorite in clubs all across Canada, and U.S. including L.A.'s Laugh Factory, were he has co- featured with Paul Reiser Donovan has competed in several National and International Improv tournaments winning numerous titles including Three world improv championships and Montreal's “Just for Laughs” International Improv tournament. Donovan's improv skills have translated well to Television. He hosted 13 episodes of a comedy fan based hockey streeter show “Fan Face-off” for the NHL network, and his weekly CTV Edmonton history segment on the 6 o'clock news is quickly become a viewer favorite. Donovan's quick wit and wild sense of humour have landed him roles on several video games, television and radio commercials, m.o.w's and feature films. Donovan has just completed his second season on the C.B.C. t.v. animated series “ICE” and also the C.B.C. radios “The Irrelevant Show”. He has performed with the likes of S.C.T.V alumnus Joe Flaherty, and Dave Thomas, as well as Colin Mochrie, and Wayne Brady of A.B.C t.v.'s “Whose Line is it ” and most recently Mike Myers, and WWE superstar Bill Goldberg.

Jeff Gladstone

Jeff Gladstone was born in Calgary and trained at U of C and Loose Moose Theatre. Performing in hundreds of improv shows before moving to Vancouver in 2000, Jeff was one of the first to perform in Micetro and the Unzipped series, and created a musical improv show called Jamprov. Jeff is now a member of the Vancouver TheatreSports League, and formed the troupe The Strecth Mouth'd Rascalls which has earned a small following at Ryan Stiles' Up Front Theatre in Bellingham Washington. A well traveled improvisation teacher, Jeff produces the Here Be Monsters workshops in Vancouver, which are led by Keith Johnstone (creator of TheatreSports and author of Impro), and next year will expand into a Festival of Spontaneity over two weeks will include workshops and performances. In addition to film credits (Almost America, Anatomy of a Hatecrime), and theatre credits (Joni Mitchell: River-ATP, Twisted Christmas Carol-Belfry/Arts Club, Charlie's Aunt-Chemainus Theatre Festival), Jeff is member of the theatre ensembles Monster Theatre (The Canada Show, The Big Rock Show), and Theatre Melee which through workshops and rehearsals is creating and producing phase five of the Path to Peace Project with members of the Kitsilano Community in Vancouver parks this summer.

Jamie Northan

Jamie has been working in Calgary's Performing Arts community since 1991. He has had the unique privilege of learning the art of improvisation at the world famous, Loose Moose Theatre Company. Studying Narrative Improvisation with, the international improvisation Guru, Keith Johnstone and Artistic Director of the Loose Moose Theatre, Dennis Cahill; Jamie has honed his skills in both performing and instructing others. Jamie has also been sharing his love of theatre by taking his trade to students of all ages in Alberta schools, since 1996. His background in traditional theatre, including Theatre Arts at Mount Royal College and numerous professional writing, acting and directing credits, help him deliver students a well rounded look at the Performing Arts.
