June 6 | Lions Charity Car Show presents Sunday June 6th, 2010 the 27th Car Show in Steinbach at the Mennonite Heritage Village. registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Participant breakfast from 8 to 11 am. Chapel Service at 9:30 am. with the musical group Isaiah6. Show opens to the public at 11 am. Awards to follow at 4 pm. Attractions include the Burnout Competition, Live Band, "Ashland Court", full Museum displays, and horse wagon rides . | June 13 | Cruising the Island. The Vintage Cruisers Annual Show & Shine will be held at Island Park in Portage La Prairie on the 13th June 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm (rain date is 20 June). Admission for participants is a non -perishable food item for the Salvation Army Food Bank. Dash plaques for the first 150 participants, silent auction, 50/50 draw, music man and concession stand run by Cancer society Manitoba . All antique , classic, and special interest vehicles and motorcycles are welcome. Proceeds from the show go to local charities. Free admission for spectators.
