Artist Rina Lederer - Vizer

PERSONAL INFORMATION 

Rina Lederer-Vizer was born in Haifa, Israel. She studied in The Academy of Art And Design in Jerusalem, where she got he B.A.  Rina moved to Canada in 1974, lived in Winnipeg till 1979 . Since then lives in Vancouver . Rina Lederer-Vizer’s paintings were exhibited locally and overseas. In her art, Rina explores polarity; opposing elements that controvert yet coincide.”

"I search for a visual language that conveys conflict and displays a process. My mixed media technique exemplifies the process of life ; It is interplay between two surfaces: The free stroke textured surface of the board and the applied photographed.” The paintings, “Jerusalem” exhibition provoke a sense of history, mystery and drama.

In the last series of works, I explores the sense of time, through personal perspective. : “closing Circles” mixed media works exhibited for the first time.
