Hello there and welcome to my web site! My name is Ryan and I was born and raised in beautiful Victoria, BC.

I owned and operated Eagle Eye Animation and Web from 1993 to approx. 2005. Originally named Eagle Eye Animation and Drafting, I provided primarily Computer Aided Drafting for various electrical engineering firms and contractors in and around Victoria and the occasional animation project.

Then, under the name of Eagle Eye Animation and Web, I provided primarily Web Site Design/Development with some graphic design thrown in, plus, occasional Animation to companies in and around Victoria since 1998. Next stop, the world! (que world conquering music) ;-)

Over the years, like many of us, my experiences, both life and work, have morphed me from being web first-graphics second to graphic design first, video editting/production second to web third. Therefore my current goal is to gain full or part-time employment in Graphic Design or start providing Graphic Design services on a freelance/contract basis.

My computer experience ranges from the old Apple][+ days right up to the present PCs . . . with a little Mac thrown in for good measure. My software experience is similar; from the ancient art of typing in Hplot code to create drawings, to using a mouse, tablet, scanners, digital camera and current software to expand my creative experiences in the present.

Though my primary "traditional" work experience is with AutoCAD, I have continually stretch both my traditional and digital creative muscle at home, school and at work, (when the opportunity presented itself).

My software strengths include Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Pinnacle Studio and much more. All these, combined with my technical and problem solving knowledge and dedication to quality work, makes my working relationship with my employers a win-win situation.

The two activities I have enjoyed most throughout my life are drawing and computers, (oh and obviously my love of Eagles). Since I was young I've been both, around computers and drawing/creating anything, anywhere, anytime. (visit my Hobbies Gallery)

I have fond and humorous memories of my Dad taking me to his office at City Hall and seeing the computers he was in charge of there. This was back when a computer was a HUGE, GIGANTIC machine that took-up a whole room and stood, (what looked to me then), well over 10 feet tall. Oh, and lets not forget the data cards that went in them.

Combining the technology of computers with the creativity of drawing is a joy for me…to make a living with this combination, here in Victoria, is a dream come true.
