Try the following combination of essential oils in a warm (not hot) bath to ease stress and muscle pain:
Use only Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils. Draw the bath first, mix the essential oils with a tablespoon of milk, add to the bath water, swirl them around with your foot, get in and relax. Allow yourself 10 to 20 minutes. Do not get the bath water in your eyes, as the oils will sting. Use this formula once a day for 3 or 4 days a week for a two or three week period.

Being very careful not to burn yourself with the steam, put a towel over your head, close your eyes and lean over the steaming bowl and allow the vapors to accumulate for the suggested period of time for your skin type. If you get too hot or the vapors become overpowering, lift the towel to allow some fresh air in - but not for too long otherwise you'll disturb the overall effectiveness of the steam.

Back to Top | HomeFill a foot tub with warm water and add 1 cup of Epsom Salts (great for aching feet). Soak for 15 minutes once a week or as often as necessary.
Fill a foot tub with warm water and add 10 - 12 drops of Tea Tree essential oil. Soak for 15 minutes. Dry feet thoroughly when done and remember between the toes!
For active athlete's foot, you should do this every day, twice a day until the condition clears. Consult your health care provider if condition persists.
For prevention, you should do this once a week, and most definitely after a day of "shoe shopping!

Mix the essential oils in a small amber glass bottle. Pour the Apricot Kernel Oil or any other carrier oil (see carrier oils in the glossary) into a larger amber glass bottle and add 20 drops of the essential oil mixture. Store the remainder of the essential oil mixture for future use.
Keep this bottle next to your bedside and rub a generous amount into the abdomen and breasts before going to sleep. If you are awakened in the night, rub more oil on and observe the results. If this doesn't help, add a little bit more of the essential oil mixture (40 drop overall maximum - remember, you've already used 20 drops) to the carrier oil base.
Mix the essential oils together. In a small enamel pan melt the beeswax and add the Jojoba oil. When the beeswax is melted, add the essential oil mixture and pour into the amber glass bottle. Let it cool and apply to your inner wrists and inner ankles as needed.

Mix 2 cups of Epsom Salt with 1/4 cup of petroleum jelly and a few drops of lavender essential oil. Use the mixture to gently scrub away dry skin.
