| 2. Find a place that you want the eyes to sit on the head piece. I like to position the eyes pretty close to the front of the head. Try to center them and keep them close together. Make a mark on the fur where the center of each eye is. Then cut a small hole at each mark (I used a seam ripper). The hole should be large enough for the screw to pass through the fur, but not so big that the washer wil fit. Then take a washer and screw and slide them through the hole from the inside of the puppet. Now you should have to screws, with the shafts poking out of the top of your puppet, but the screw heads being stopped by the washer. |
