Battery Isolation a Different Way

I was needing to isolate the dual batteries in the rig and went down the traditional battery isolator route.  I first installed the 90 Amp isolator the correct way as shown below.

The problem that I found is the isolator has a constant voltage loss of 1 Volt per side and I was not happy with the charging and running voltage.  I was thinking about changing to a Hellroaring isolator, which would do a much better job, but I decided to try a different wiring arrangement, which I think should work fine.

With this arrangement, the main battery and electric get a full and direct charge.  The starting battery sees only 0.5 Volt drop and can accept 180 Amps charging safely and is protected from discharge if the main system is drained down such as when winching.
