Non-National Not Writing a Novel Non-Month


They say a picture is worth 1000 words. So in response to those individuals who participate in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month - which encourages people to try writing a 50,000 word novel in November), you are invited to create 50 pictures between November 1st and Nov 25th.

You can do paintings, drawings, pencil sketches, collages, digital photography, print photography, graphic design, ink-blots, pastels, watercolors, pencil-crayons, Crayola crayons (Hey - get your kids involved!), or whatever tickles your fancy. Just do 50 images in those 25 days (which averages to 2 images per day). The focus is on quantity, not quality.

All good things, come to an end. Eventually. This one, we knew when the end would be, and yet, I still feel some sadness that it's over. This was a great project. I felt creative, and happy, and imaginative for almost a month. It was a really neat experience. I wish more people could have undertaken it with us. But, time's up, pencils down, cameras off. So long.

It's back. It loves me. 'Course the battery is in desperate need of recharging, but this is workable. My baby came home... Man, I'm sad. I so need my own digital camera. *sigh*

So I am again 'sans' camera. I don't know what this means for the rest of the month, but I'll try to finish the project anyways. My camera comes back from Toronto next week, so I may not be able to update until then. Sorry...

So I've gone back and updated all the photos, so that none are old ones. The only one that didn't change is 'Sanna, but that was taken about a week ago so I decided it counts. So make sure you go back and check out the new pictures.

Just as a note, the photo of Raven is her working on her own NoNoNoNo project. The other is, well, recognizable to her closest friends, I'm sure.
