Notes on my project!!!!!!!

I have built a weatherproof trailer for the delta so that I can park it outside in the winter. I sometimes joke that I have a crewman willing to fly it as it is , but his chances are not good. I am presently working on the wingtips and the elevons. I hope to do the gas tank next and then the panel fiberglassing

What is delta??

It is a letter in the greek alphabet which appears to be a triangle. That is why it was used to describe the airplanes which use wings of a triangle shape.

Originally only high speed aircraft used the deltawing design. It was thought that lowerspeed aircraft would not be stable in a deltawing configuration. John Dyke changed that with his 1962 design. The concept has not been developed much since.

The following is the project I have. It is a real Delta Flyer. The delta wing has been used in many aircraft. backviewafterpaint.jpg
