Saying Goodbye To Shumer

Well he's gone. Maybe for good too. Everybody here will miss him, I know that. I think he put the "cool" in the Department of Highways. And now all we're left with is an empty feeling in our gut. I hope everything works out well for him and his family. Dave, if you're out there, drop me a line sometime...

There's snow just around the corner here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Monday and Tuesday we're going to get hit hard. Then comes 5 months of nightmare driving. I hate nightmare driving.

So our local PBS station has moved This Old House from Thursday to Saturday and dropped The Computer Chronicles altogether. This Old House was on Thursday nights for 22 years! This confirms it. Once again, I will not be donating money to PBS.
