Although I fly some civil aircraft in FSX, my main interest is military aviation and history.  There are several excellent Canadian themed aircraft or repaints available for FSX.  Many are native FSX aircraft but some are ports from FS9.  There are a few issues with ported aircraft but in some cases there isn’t a native FSX alternative. One of the little tweaks I do is change (or add) this line in the aircraft.cfg file to group the Canadian military aircraft together:

 

ui_typerole="Canadian Forces / RCAF / RCN"

 

This is the collection as of September 2009 (some have more then one paint scheme):
