The idea of this web page was born when Shelly
Williams (VantageNet@aol.com), eWorld screen name
ShellyD, posted the following message on
eWorld.
Subj: eWorld Farewell Web Page 96-03-24 14:40:54 PST
From: ShellyD
I'm planning to put up a Web page about
eWorld. This page will be a tribute and farewell
to eWorld and what it has meant to all of us. If
anyone is interested in contributing to this
page, please e-mail me with your statements on
what eWorld has meant to you. All statements
will be displayed on this page. Also, if there
are any interested webmasters out there who can
help with setting the page up, please let me
know.
I've read so many wonderful and heartfelt
messages on this board! I think all of our
comments and feelings about eWorld should be on
the Net for all of cyberspace to see! You can
e-mail me at ShellyD@eworld.com (until March 30)
or at VantageNet@aol.com.

Raymond Kam ,
eWorld screen name RaymondKam, is
responsible for putting the web site together.
For you interest, Cleo Huggins and Mark Drury
were the art directors for eWorld. Mark Drury was
the illustrator. (Graphis

(Serial), Graphis Press, p. 192, 193)
According to CKS:
"Because of its integrated marketing
experience Apple chose CKS to help name its
own online service, create and identity and
develop a visual personality consistent with its
uniquely friendly interface. Without
departing form Apple's existing corporate
identity program, a distinctive identity was
created and supported with a visual vocabulary
which was then integrated into the design of all
marketing communications materials and
packaging."
Is it still possible to purchase the Official
eWorld Guide for Mac Users?! By Cary Lu, John
Milligan, Ross Scott Rubin. Paperback, 403 pages,
Published by Hayden Books, Publication date:
November 1994. ( This title is out of print, but if
you place an order, Amazon.com may be able to find
you a used copy within 1-3 months. ) Actually, I
have seen it in a Vancouver bookstore (UBC
bookstore?) not long ago.
