RAVINA
by Angela England
RACE: Human
HAIR COLOR: Black
EYE COLOR: Dark brown, often thought to be black
HEIGHT: 5'4"
WEIGHT: 110lbs
APPEARANCE: A simple dark green cloak, sturdy and slightly worn is flung over her simple peasant outfit. A pair of slightly too large brown breeches tied with rope and a tunic shirt that looks odd on such a young girl. If you ask her you'll find out it was her older brother's clothing.
Ravina carries her brother's sword around her waist although she does not know how to use it well. The most notable things about her is her wide-eyed trusting expression, and the large hawk that is either perched on her shoulder or flying in the air nearby.
HISTORY: Ravina is 18 years old, although at first she appears much younger.
She grew up with a simple farming family outside the city, on the edges of Lohom Forest. Her family's cottage was destroyed in the war of the Horde Queen. Her brother also fought in that war where he died with honor. Her parents disguised her as a boy and hid her in the forest to keep her from being taken as a slave.
Her greatest treasures are a necklace from her mother, the commendation of honor for her brother's service in the wars, and her hawk Altruin. Altruin was a fledgling when Ravina's brother, Salin gave him to her to raise. Becuae of her excellent care he is a very large hawk, much larger than those usually seen in the wild.
PERSONALITY: Ravina appears a simple sort at first, and some unobservant wonder if she is quite all there. Those who look deeper soon realize she is one of those pure in heart type souls of whom the worst that can be said is that she is too trusting. Animals quickly accept her and she has been known to scoop up wounded animals to tend with no harm coming to her.
CAPABILITIES/SKILLS: Her greatest skill is with animals and humans alike. With getting people to trust her, not becuase she "tries" to get them to trust her, but becuase she is worthy of trust. She is an excellent rider, and has much knowledge of the forest. She carries a sword but has never been taught to use it.
