On this page are listed other important characters in the world of Raven's Keep. Any player may take over a "bystander" to participate in their role-playing, but they must take care to stay true to that bystander's character.
 | DARION, Lady Sarah's most trusted guardsman, and leader of one of the strongest garrisons of Raven's Keep. |
 | MARIAM CERILE. Though once a servant employed at the D'Ambreeville Manor, the deaths of Lord Robert and Lady Lillian forced her into a change in residence. She decided to come to the Keep to look after her former employer's niece Talinda D'Ambreeville, but, as always, has decided to make herself useful. Currently, this rather jovial rounded woman serves as the cook of the Keep. When she's not trying to feed everyone, she is attempting to be a matchmaker, which can lead to some very interesting adventures in its own right. |
 | SULLIVAN, the druid of healing and herbal cures. Sullivan is a kind, soft spoken one. Usually lingering within the background of any crisis ready to assist should the need arise. Yet, he seems wise among his people and duely respected. A great loyalty is bound between him and the people of Messina and the Keep. |
 | MARIUS is one of the elders of the Druid tribe in Bellshire. He at times isn't all he seems, so keep a sharp eye out for this one. Although his loyalty lies with the Lady Sarah, his first true loyalties do lie with his people of Bellshire. |
 | ZYRICK is Marius's Brother Druid. No one has actually ever seen his face. He always keeps his crimson cloak and hood shrouded about his body. He is much easier going than his elder brother Marius. But, just as serious about his duties. |
 | JACOB is the only warrior druid left of his clan. His brothers specialized more in the arts of magic, while Jacob enthralled himself in his battle skills. This making Jacob a more desired allie in combat or battle. His nature however, is solemn most of the time and he speaks very little. He is very close to his brothers as he is the eldest. |

 | THADIUS, the owner of the former Black Dagger Tavern that was destoryed along with the rest of the holding within Messina. Now, his new tavern and inn stands erect and ready for business, the Dragon's Eyes Tavern and Inn welcomes one and all. Rarely about, he tends his business from afar. The ale is rather tasty and often the rooms are slightly ruffled. However, beggars can't be choosers, so when one is tired and almost penniless. The Dragon's Eye shall suit you fine. Besides the barmaidens are nothing to laugh about |

 | DUNKEL is a fun loving boy of about 15 years old. He thinks he knows all there is to know about everything. Yet, one can't help but think kindly of his efforts to help and his funny ways. He is from the Island of Merillias and has avoided most of the evil there since his father took him on a trip to Messina some years ago. He met the King there and his daughter. He also caught the eye of a local girl and swore that he'd return one day to claim her hand. Will he ever get the chance to return to Raven's Keep? |
 THE GUARDIANS are celestial beings that controlled the portals at one time. Although these beings were immortal, they were dying out. Their scriptures spoke of a young maiden, pure of heart, that would overcome great obstacles. They watched for many seasons,  unable to interfere with any of the land's troubles and woes. Then the time came when they bestowed their wisdom upon this young maiden--Lady Sarah. Having been chosen at birth, she was taken into the bosom of the Guardians and trained in the skills of controlling the portals, in her world and in others. Great changes will occur due to this, in her land and in her life. But the Lady Sarah will come to realize that for there to be light there must be darkness, and for there to be goodness there must be evil. There must be a balance with which she can not interfere constantly. |
However, Mya left the dragons there obviously hoping to return after the honeymoon. She and Savant never did return and the dragons took up residence within the icy mountains of Sonya's Peaks. They seemed well peaceful enough and Sarah saw no reason to be quickly rid of them. It was following the dark days of the Queen horde and the unwarranted attacks by Danor that someone obviously found the next generation of dragon eggs to their liking. Stealing them and using them against Raven's Keep to with hold the dragon's assistance in the ongoing and upcoming war. Yet, none knew of the bonding that had been building between Keth and Lady Sarah over those years. It wasn't a drastic bond, blood bond but none the less a bond, a kinship. And during the war an assault from Messina upon Danor, there was a plan hatched between Sarah and Keth. Using the dragons at precisely the right moments would ensure the dragon egg's safety as well as their recovery. Once the downfall of Danor was assured, the dragons were full on assaulting, attacking and backing up the forces of Messina not only in Danor, but on the island of the Black Veil, where the eggs were retrieved and taken back to Overburton Port. There Keth led the recovery of the dragon eggs as they were laid out upon the ships decks. It was a sight to behold great talons outstretch as the wind carried their wings to ease down ever so gently and pick them like flowers from the wooden decks and took them back to their dens within the mountains. Now they reside truly within the mountains of Sonya's Peaks, living peacefully and having reassured themselves as well as the people of Messina a new and powerful alliance. Last counted there were at least eighteen fully grown adult dragons and everyone hopes for successful hatchlings of at least three to four times that number come fall. And so the nation of Dragons within Raven's Keep is born, growing to a magnificent ally to those of Messina. |

Elite Resurrection Knights: A gathering of Selected Knights that uphold the codes of the land such as nobility, honor, honesty, integrity and justice and protecting those lesser, weaker in defending them against that which would wish to see them down-trodden. These Knights train hard, working diligently in every aspect of combat, from sword, bow, Calvary, and the double ended piked staffs that only these knights can wield with deadly force working in stealth, secrecy and in outright protocol according to their orders. These men are not ones to take lightly, instead the very sight of them command respect and admiration from those surrounding them. Their force is a mere 100 men out of the great force of Raven's Keep working to guard the castle and carry out orders as needed within the city and surrounding areas.
Mya, the Red Sorceress came from the land of Abyssinia, across the world from Messina. It is a land with vast mountain ranges, fertile valleys and many lakes. Abyssinia is surrounded by a great ocean, that none can cross except by dragon back or through portals. Mya was highly skilled in many forms of magic, in addition to her special rapport with dragons.
Savant Shadow Walker hailed from the Isle of Opmore. His father was once ruler there, until one day the evil sorcerer Shamin slew his parents and overtook his homeland. he learned to shadow walk at will as well as shapeshift into his counterpart the wolf.
Savant and Mya served Raven's Keep faithfully and well for a long time; eventually they fell in love, and married. But on their honeymoon, Savant was taken over by the Master, a shadowy figure who once controlled Farisaiden and the Nightmare. He has since disappeared, and Mya is presumed dead by his hand.
 | COBERLY THE GREY, a peaceful man that had finally come home to find the castle of the Raven and the angel. Yet, he found more. Through great trials and tribulations, Coberly was the strength behind Raven's Keep, the level head, the strong heart and the compassion for which everyone had learned to live. The angel he met, became more to him within his heart and yet they both seemed to deny their love for one another until thier last day. It was said peace and a loving understanding was guilded that day between the two, and they both sat out on different journies. The angel in his eyes, The Lady Sarah Thornwyck to others, set out to save her people, and the man, the love of her life spent his last engery to send her into that battle. They were to see one another no more in this life as Sarah would soon find out upon her return. She had finally given in to her heart's pleas, only to return and find that the life she'd hope to begin with him had just suddenly ended. Coberly would remain within her heart, a part of her heart, the compassion he showed others would not die, but grow through those lives he touched. He will be greatly missed..... |
 | GAVIN KNIGHTSBRIDGE, The Knight of Swords. Gavin had originally come to Ravenskeep as the result of an awry encounter with an evil wizard. Even though his inital reaction was to find the quickest way back home to Earth, once he got there, he soon realized that RavensKeep was more his home than anywhere else. Finally giving up Earth, Gavin returned to RavensKeep as a man more in tuned with his skills and with an undying loyalty to Lady Sarah. With a magical dragonsword and crossbow in hand, he spent his time demon hunting and dispatching enemies with quick-witted finesse alongside Lady Sarah and her heroes. Unfortunately, it was in one of these adventures that he parted ways with those of RavensKeep. In his battle with mummies and the Witch in the Illusion Isles, he was seriously wounded and then forced through a portal back to his own world by the psionic Siyai Ravaedd, all ties to those he had known and loved ripped from this knight. Whether or not he survived the teleportation remains a mystery as does the answer to his true whereabouts. All that is known is that Gavin will be greatly missed by everyone at Ravenskeep. |

 | LEGION OF KRAUS. He kidnapped Lady Sarah with the intent of forcing her to marry him. If successful, this would have made him ruler over Raven's Keep. The Messina Council of Elders had conspired with him to make this happen, because they wanted a male leader on the throne of Raven's Keep. In the end he was destroyed along with Sonya Warrior Wolf by the powerful magic of Sarah and her sister Talinda. |
 | KRING, a warlord from an alternate world, leader of a violent and bloodthirsty people who worshipped a violent and bloodthirsty god. They raped and pillaged the land and even lay siege to the Keep itself, before their god was driven off by the combined might of this world's own gods. |
 | THE HORDE QUEEN, a cannibal of cannibals, an evil living plague of darkness moved towards Raven's Keep. But her plans to rule with the dark Gods have been put to rest. Three warriors it would seem, one with light, one that heals, one that wields his might accomplished the impossible and freed the Raven God after Sarah killed her. |
 | ALICE was Lady Sarah's most trusted friend and servant. Having grown up with Sarah, Alice learned and played along side of her for as long as Sarah could recall. However, little did anyone including Lady Sarah know the dark thoughts that had plagued Alice all these years. She grew up resenting Sarah for everything, from her beauty to her reign over her kingdom and much more. It drove Alice into a scheme with the council men before they were banished from the kingdom. She poisoned Sarah and her sister Talinda in hopes of their death coming without linking it to her. Only Sullivan, a druid from Bellshire intervened and spoke of several ingrediants on distant shores that held a cure. So setting off a group of questors did just that. Yet, Alice had other plans by decieving all of them until the last minute. The last ingrediant she obtained by slaying the master Vampire on the Island of Merrillias and taking over his powers as well as the amulet of Amarnta, the last ingrediant of the cure. She'd hope for her own kingdom and would raise an army of her own to perhaps one day rule over the kingdom of Raven's Keep. Her plans were foiled by none other than Gavin Knightsbridge, the knight of swords. He slew her in a confrontation and it seems he is none the sorry for it. So Alice lay dead at the tallest tower, her dark eyes fading, returning to their normal blue. Perhaps Gavin laid her to rest in the only way possible. |
