Q: Why is there a policy of no killing? A: In short, it's more fun this way. Some players have been here for a long time (since it started, in fact) and it would not be fair to those that are just starting to role play. New players need time to get comfortable in the game, and with their characters. Besides, killing is rarely fun for anyone. Beginner or veteran, we all have a lot invested in our character(s). Q: Who do I contact if I have a complaint to make? A: See our Contact Page. If you have a problem with a character, or someone's role playing, or an aspect of the game itself, email the moderators (Janet, Melissa, Jen, Martin), preferably all of them at the same time. If you have a problem with the Web site, its presentation or content, email the Webmaster (Nicolas). Please keep complaints short and to the point. Q: What do I do if no one starts playing with me right away? A: Hang in there! There are many reasons why you may not have gotten a reply yet. First, it may take a couple of days for other players to read your post, compose a reply, and for that reply to reach you. Second, you must realize that other characters are already involved in their own role-playing. Therefore, instead of having them come to you, you must go to them. Read the archives, find suitable characters to interact with, then join in. If you wish, email the players privately and ask them to make a place for you in their role-playing. Do I have to read every single post? A: We strongly suggest that you do. Even if the threads do not directly involve your character, you will at least learn things that may be useful later on. It is also important, for consistency's sake, to know where all other characters are at any given time. Can I create and play more than one character? A: Yes. However, if you are new to role-playing, you may want to stick with just one character. Additional characters are much more of a commitment. A: There are a few things to keep in mind:
