Current Litters

For both SITH and Small Joys Ratteries

We have no babies currently available but hopefully we do have some babies "on the way".

How to Adopt from SITH and/or Small Joys Rattery

We work in partnership with Small Joys Rattery and handle all the adoptions for both SITH and Small Joys, so if you would like to be on the waiting list for either rattery, please read over our Breeding and Adoption Policies and email us your application using the form you will find there.

Future Litters In The Works

For both SITH and Small Joys Ratteries

JOY/ROUS Gabriel

SITH Midnight

SITH Midnight of JOY (another daughter of the great Darth Silky!) has been bred to JOY/ROUS Gabe of JOY.  The results are as yet unknown.  Midnight is a kissy girl like her dad, with a shiny black satin coat.  Gabe started out as a dark black rat also, but his color gradually faded to a light gray leaving a darker black mask on his face.   From this pairing, we would expect black dumbo rats with a chance of charcoal or maybe mink, some with satin coats.  Erin would like to replicate Gabe's weird weird markings, coloration and kissiness.  Honeymooning started Dec 3rd.  There is still plenty of room on this waiting list.

STUD Odin

Dmnt Popcorn

STUD Odin X Dmnt Popcorn, both of Small Joys Rattery. Odin is a lovely boy, who is one of Erin's boyfriend's favourite shoulder-rats, and a handsome gentleman to boot. We are expecting capped, masked, blazed and otherwise face marked fawn and agouti dumbo standard coat babies with people-first personalities. Both these rats spend all their time watching Erin through the cage bars, trying to mind-control her into picking them up. Frequently it works. Honeymooning started on Dec 7th. There is still plenty of room on this waiting list.

HoF/ROUS Buster

Dmnt Ocean

HoF/ROUS Buster is a dilute fawn who is so pale he almost looks like a pink eyed white.  His mother is a beautiful blue dumbo and his dad is a bright curly fawn so he carries both possibilities.  More importantly, he is a very sweet, very large, laid back cuddle bunny and a perfect mate for Dmnt Ocean of JOY.  Expecting floofy fluffy bombproof babies, half dumbo, in blue and blue agouti, possibly fawn and weird dilute shades.  Honeymooning since Dec 8th 2009.  There is still room on this waiting list.

SITH Snowball

Joy/ROUS Lady Luck

These 2 roans, both with perfect blazes and banding are set to produce some fantastic show quality babies.  Snowball won best of show marked kitten at Ratstock 2008 and Best of Show marked adult at the RatsPacNW Spring Show 2009.  Lady attended her first show in Port Orchard WA this Fall, winning Best in Show marked kitten.  (Recent RatsPacNW show results can be seen here and past show results here.)  In addition to amazing looks, these two rats also carry amazing sweetness.  We are expecting all standard eared european roans, half with fantastic curly true rex coats. Colors should include agouti and fawn with the possibility of blue and blue agouti.  Honeymooning started on Dec 7th.  There is still room on this waiting list.

JATS Alex

RtRM/JOY Charlie

RtRM/JOY Charlie is from the fabulous Cocoa Puff line, she doesn't have the Cocoa Puff velveteen coat but she has the sit-on-your-shoulder-and-brux personality in spades. Alex is from Jan of JATS Rats, and is her pick of the rattery for Charlie. Babies should be dumbo in a range of funny-face markings and colors from black to mink and lilac. Honeymooning started on Dec 9th 2009.

We hope to have two litters of dwarf rats timed for Ratapalooza in April.  One litter will be all dumbo, in white with fancy face markings in either fawn or agouti.  Half should be curly and half smooth.  The other will be irish or selfs in either black or agouti, but they will carry both cinnamon and Russian blue.  Half should be dumbo and half standard eared.  If the litters are large enough their may be room on the waiting list for both these litters.

Even more future breeding plans can be found on the Small Joys Rattery website.  Erin has her tentative breeding plans laid out all the way to the Spring of 2010 and beyond!  She also has photos and more in depth descriptions of most of the above mentioned JOY rats.  Hopefully more photos will soon be appearing on these pages as well.
