Rainbow Miniature's is a small farm located in Langley, British Columbia. We have been breeding, training, and showing our AMHA horses since 1980. Our biggest accomplishment was when we acquired a son of Hemlock Brook's Egyptian King, Monastary Whirlwind. His get are the backbone of our breeding program. Four years ago we purchased a grandson of Bronco Billy, Quicksilvers Que Pasa. This has been a welcome surprise to our breeding program as his foals are truly awesome.
Our foals grow up in our backyard with people around most of the time, as well as dogs, cats, and whatever else happens to wander in there. Needless to say we have very socialized foals. We think this is very important to making a well rounded horse.
We always breed for confirmation first, temperament second, and then make a shot at the color. Our horses are our babies and they tend to hang around for a while. We are sometimes forced to sell a few to make room for the new babies.
We attend social functions with our horses, up elevators, into nursing homes, parades, displays at fairs, and of course local and AMHA shows. We enjoy our little hobby and hope to do so for many years.
