Sponsors

Logic Product Development, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota was generous in sponsoring us a GPS tracking device for our trip.

The device that has been sponsored to us can be found at the following Magellan web site.

We thank them for their support.

Graham (motorcycle buddy), was supportive of the trip and lent me his Bell panniers for my front rack. This guy is the man of the hour. I really needed some panniers and I didn't have money to buy some.

Leg and arm warmers were provided by Alana's mom. Check the pictures out. They fit great and are made of fleece to keep us from getting to chilly in the morning.

If you would like a pair for yourself, you can contact her.

Working hard the night before, my sister Tricia managed to create some waterproof covers for my panniers as well as some waterproof shoe covers for both me and Alana.

Here are some pictures of the shoe covers. The camera I used took some really wonky pictures because of the flash being used too close but you'll get an idea.

Thanks Tricia.

Though Mountain Equipment Co-Op could not sponsor us any physical equipment, we consider advice one of the greatest type of sponsorships you can get. Thanks a lot to Tom working over at MEC on Portage for all the advice he had to give on the bike trip. You can check out his site here. He had some great advice and we hope we can bring some back for him.

Lifesport Shops Ltd.

I bought my bike as well as some other gear from Lifesport located at

Thanks to Walter, Blair and Rob for all the help and the great deals.

Other people we'd like to thank are:

- the girls down at Woodcock Cycle Works for the advice they gave.

- Jon for updating the site as we go.

- Adventure Cycling Association provides great maps that can be purchased from them.

- of course the parents for providing us food and shelter for the past 25 years ;-)

- anyone who is able to house us during the trip (thank in advance, we'll get your names down after).

If we've overlooked you, send us an email and we'll put you on or we'll just give you a 'thank you' right now.
