Welcome to Calgary Puppet Club

Calgary’s puppetry community is growing, and the interest that Calgarians are showing puppetry is growing as well. The Calgary Puppet Club is an organization intended to assist members of the community who are interested in puppetry to explore that interest and improve their puppet skills.

INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF ANIMATED OBJECTS
January 23 – February 1, 2009

For ten days every second January, Calgary becomes a winter hotbed of masks, puppetry and all things animated. We present mainstage shows, films, workshops, lectures and exhibitions at various downtown venues.

The Calgary Puppet Club is presenting a Pop-Up Motion workshop as a part of the animated objects festival. There are lots of other workshops and events during the festival and everyone is encouraged to take part in all the fun.
