Instructors

Chief Instructor, Shihan Paul, trained as a boxer for five years, spent a year in Aikido, trained for three years in Jiu Jitsu, and has trained in karate since 1980. He is a fifth degree black belt with the Gimaha Shotokanryu Karatedo Association and on their technical committee. He is also a GSK certified black belt grading examiner and a Canadian National "A" level referee. He is on the KBC Ofiicial's Committee. During the day, he is a senior ( grade 10, 11 + 12) English teacher and a Leadership Advisor. Shihan Paul is also a Shihan in Jikiden Traditional Japanese Reiki and a certified firearm safety instructor ( restricted + non- retsricted) through the RCMP firearms safety program.
