Bearded Dragon Behaviors

Bearded Dragons are generally agreeable pets and exhibit several endearing behaviors. Hand Waving seems to be the cutest of all behaviors. The Beardie will stand on three legs and waves one one their front limbs in a slow, circular motion. Juveniles will wave to communicate submissiveness to larger adults. This behavior is also observed in adult females during mating season. Bearded Dragons, when kept together in large groups, will often bask in a group. Keeping the Beardies singly or in sexual pairs is recommended. You can keep groups of Beardies as long as they consist of one male and two or more females.
