The Propagation-List web site is intended to be a useful working resource for people involved in propagation-related activities.  Since it's still very much under construction, ideas and contributions are most welcome.  In the meantime, here are some links to resources and sources of information concerning radiowave propagation in wireless communications systems design:

The Propagation-List mailing list  provides a discussion forum for topics related to the measurement and modeling of radiowave propagation in wireless communications systems design.  It   Discussion of:
  • path loss models (e.g., Okumura, Hata, COST-231, Fresnel-Kirchhoff),
  • channel models (e.g., GSM-recommended multipath propagation models, JTC/PCS recommended multipath propagation models),
  • specific codes (e.g., TIREM, ITS/ITM, Anderson 2D-Model, CRC-Predict, IONCAP, and others), and,
  • related topics
are all most welcome.  At the present time, the list has almost 300 subscribers from academic, government, and industry labs around the world.

To subscribe, please send a message to

propagation-list-request@gweep.ca
with
subscribe propagation-list
in the body of the message.  The list server will send you an authentication request to which you must respond before it will add you to the list.

An archive site for the list will be set up and announced in the near future.

This site is being compiled as a collaborative effort by the IEEE VT-S Propagation Committee and Propagation-List subscribers.  It is still largely under construction.  Comments, suggestions, corrections, or contributions are most welcome.

If you have comments, suggestions, corrections, or contributions, please email me at dmichelson@ieee.org

The Propagation-List mailing list and web site are sponsored by the Propagation Committee of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society.
