The Coastal Patrol suppresses whale hunting and illegal fishing, interdicts smugglers and maintains marine safety in the territorial waters of the Principality. The Patrol also cooperates with the naval forces of Canada and the United States to defend the coastline of North America. It's marine assets include two modern frigates, ten armed coastal patrol vessels and a variety of smaller craft. |

The Constabulary serve as both infantry and an urban police force in the incorporated cities and municipalities of the Principality. While the Constabulary are fully trained in modern law enforcement techniques, they are more commonly deployed in ceremonial functions. |

The Rangers provide policing services to the rural areas of the Island, conduct land-based search and rescue operations and protect fish and wildlife stocks. Since the establishment of the Ranger Corps, several species of animals have been moved off the threatened or endangered list, including the cinnamon bear and the Roosevelt elk. |
